"i would've expected more." i say as me jeremiah and steven stand speechless infront of the country club.

"same." jeremiah says.

"guys, this is sick!" steven says.

"this is pretty cool." i say.

"definitely, i just thought it would be more cause we get paid 20$ a hour." jeremiah says.

we walk in and go to to the pool.

"ok guys, i'll be at the snack shack." steven says.

"ok." we say.

"soo let's go save people from drowning!" i say.

"this is boring." i say as me and jeremiah just sit on chairs.

"i know, all we did is whistled at people for running." he says.

"you, you mean. i didn't do anything." i say

"that was your choice." he says.

"whatever jere, let's get outta here." i say.

"we're done in 2 minutes." he says looking at his wrist with no watch on it. i giggle

"how was your first day of work? i'm your guys boss by the way." our boss says

oh my he was fine.

"g-io great it was super fun. saved people." i say stuttering.

"it was good. let's go mells." jeremiah says.

"ok, c-bye cya." i say waving.

"what was that." jeremiah says.

"nothing?" i say.

"you can't start relationships with your boss." jeremiah says pulling me into a corner.

"i was just saying hi? i never did shit jeremiah, and your not my dad." i say.

"you can't already mess us up melody." he says.

"messing us up? im not gonna get us fired for liking our boss." i say pushing his arm of me.

"let's go." jeremiah says.

"no, im gonna leave, don't tell me what to do." i say.

i walk away and call a taxi and take that home.

"why a taxi home?" belly asks me.

"cause i wanted to." i say.

"what's your problem." she's asks.

"jeremiah." i say.

"you've loved him like forever-" she's says as i interrupt her.

"shhhhhh and he just thinks i'm his child that he can boss and i'll say yes to everything he says." i say.

"our boss is like extremely hot, and i like him, he thinks i'll get us fired and that i can't do that." i say.

"you can do whatever you want melly, i hope that hot guys works out with you." belly says as she winks.

jeremiah and steven walk into the door.

"belly, show me the dresses you got for me upstairs." i say as we walk upstairs ignoring him.
