"bye ri." i say hugging her as the bus arrive.

"bye mel, i'm gonna miss you." she says.

"me too, i'll see you at the volley ball tournament ok?" i say.

"ok." she says hugging me again and entering the bus.

"how about we get ice cream mel?" jeremiah says as i enter the car.

"sure." i say smiling at him.

"2 chocolate cones please." jeremiah says handing the man a 10$ bill.

"thank you." he says as he gets handed to cones of chocolate icecream.

"thank you jereeee." i say as we sit on the ledge of a bridge looking off to the water.

"i thought you worked today." i say.

"i did, not for long though." he says as he shoves the icecream in his mouth.

i laugh at him.

"whaatt?" he says as i continue to laugh.

"here." i say as i take my thumb and wipe his nose.

"oh." he says as we both laugh.

he grabs my hand and puts my thumb in his mouth to lick the icecream off.

"yum." he says as we look at each other.

"mel." he says.

"what?" i say.

"c-can i have the kiss you promised." he asks.

as much as my lips still hurt i didn't give a shit.

i grabbed his collar and pulled his lips into mine.

our lips stuck together still kissing, tasting chocolate and his favourite mints he always eats.

his hand then pushes my hair behind my ear as we pull away.

"jere." i say.

"yes mel." he says.

"i really like you." i say.

"i d-do to, always have, always will." he says.

"will you, be like y'know." he says stuttering.

"yes, yes i will." i say as a smile grows.

i pull him in another kiss lasting longer.

i pull away and smile.

"let's go." he says as he grabs a hold of my hand and pulls me.

"where are we going." i say.

"home." he says.

we drive home vibing to the radio.

"wanna go swimming?" he asks.

"sure." i say excitedly.

i laugh.

"it's just a bathing suit." i say.

"yeah, you look nice in it." he says.

"why thank you mr." i say.

"of course ms." he says bowing.

i dip my foot in the water.

"that's cold." i say.

he pushes me in.

"jeremiah!" i shout.

"m-my foot." i say in pain faking it of course.

"m-mel, are you ok?" he says as he bends i'm down and hands me his hand.

i grab it and pull him in the water.

"wow." he says as we splash each other.

"you know what." i say panting from the splashing.

"what?" he asks.

i then paddle over to him and kiss him, i still felt sore but not as bad as i wanted to kiss him.

i kissed him, it became a make out in the pool.

"ok." he says licking his lips as i pull away.

"i'm gonna get out, let's watch a movie after alright?" i say.

"sure yeah i'm down." he says stuttering as i climb out of the pool.
