Chapter 25: conversations

After everything was said and done the witches threw a party which I couldn't ditch. Many people congratulated me before going to dance or eat. I was simply confused and walked around looking for Davina or ms.Claire.

I didn't know anyone here but them two and hated it. There was way to many people so I slipped out only to hear arguing close by. I followed it only to see the elders and ms. Claire

"His not even apart of the covern why make him a harvest witch" a male snapped glaring at the elder i soon knew was named Agnes

"Think about it. His a mikaelson witch. He holds a lot of power. He himself could appease the ancestors alone and we will have his power" Agnes was smiling widely at the idea while I panicking on the inside

"And if his family find out, we will be slaughtered " ms. Claire honestly looked scared of the idea.

"By the time they find out Henrik will already be loyal to us. His the youngest do you really think they will want him to see them as monsters. You need to take his phone-" I glared at Agnes and the other before running off. I had to get out of here. With that thought in mind I pulled out my phone ready to call Lijah

"Henrik why are you calling at such a late hour"

I couldn't help but smile as I heard Lijah voice
"Lijah can you come get me it's not-"

"Henrik a lot is going on here,I know you don't like being alone and away from family but your going to have to deal with it until I return"

I wanted to scream at him for being so dismissive but didn't. I didn't know what was going on in mystic falls and I didn't know if it was more important then this or not but I was scared."Your not listening, there up to something. It's about a harvest that there trying to make me do"

"A harvest?" Lijah seemed just as confused as me.

"I don't know what it is but I don't think it's good" glancing around I made sure nobody was close enough to hear me. I didn't want to get attacked

"I'll look it up and get back to you, keep your head down and keep me updated" with that he hung up. I just hoped he figured this out before something bad happened

"Henrik there you are, we are going home and starting the ritual tomorrow. You going to do great" Ms. Claire walked towards me wearing her soft smile that I knew had to be fake now.  Yet I still smiled back and followed her home. I just had to play along until Lijah figured everything out. For my sake I hope he figures it out quickly because whatever the harvest is didn't sound safe at all
