im sitting on the sofa relaxing; I have not been home long since I had training. my house mate georgia stanway however still hasn't come home as she decided to stay at the training ground for some extra shooting practice.
I'm just lying on the sofa scrolling through instagram when I come across georgias latest post from a couple hours ago:

it's captioned with a short paragraph: I feel the need to apologise online for my tackle against @manunited last match. I previously apologised for my actions after the match and when it happened, however due to the amount of hate I have received over the past 2 days I feel as if I need to apologise to everyone else too. I shouldn't have to feel this way but because of the endless comments I do. I'm extremely sorry for my actions and I know it was a very badly timed tackle that shouldn't have happened in the first place. Thanks, G.
almost as soon as i finish reading, a frantic georgia comes through the front door. she doesn't say anything to me, she just walks straight to her room down the corridor. after a few minutes, I can hear her sobbing so I decide to try to talk to her. I get up off the sofa and walk over to her room. she's locked the door so I knock on it and wait for a response. I get nothing. I knock again but still nothing. I decide to text the only person georgia may answer to. leah williamson.

not totally sure x she came home upset and went straight to her room x but I think it's the hate she's getting online for that tackle against man united xx

Leah's pov:
I'm driving to alex and georgia's apartment and I don't really know what to expect. however I have been seeing the amount of hate georgia is currently getting on all her social media platforms and it's so bad. I was really hoping she had her comments filtered so she wouldn't see it but I guess not.
the journey takes an hour but it goes by quite quickly and before I know I'm outside the apartment. I quickly get out my car and rush to the front door. alex let's me in and I immediately walk to georgias room and knock on the door. "alex, I said I'm fine" georgia says annoyed. "G, it's me leah. can I come in?" I stand at the waiting until a timid georgia slowly opens the door. she finally opens it fully to reveal her still in her training kit with mascara marks under eyes and puffy cheeks from her crying. I don't say anything I just walk forwards, shut the door behind me and embrace georgia in a big hug.
we stay hugging for a couple of minutes before I lead her over to the bed where I get in and hold my hands out for her. she accepts my offer and lays down next to me, resting her head on my shoulder. I put one arm behind her head and the other arm by my side although georgia starts picking at her nails and fiddling with her fingers so I hold both her hands. "talk to me G, what's wrong" I say softly even though I'm pretty sure I know what is making her so upset. she doesn't say anything, she just hands me her phone which was next to her. It's already on and open on her most recent twitter tweet from a day ago. I scroll down and look at the comments.

the comments went on and on. they were all bad but I stopped at the one about georgias period hurting. "that's disgusting" I say to her pointing at that comment. "I know" georgia says quietly. "I'm so so sorry g" I say kissing her head and hugging her tighter. "I just don't understand, I've said sorry so many times! man united have forgiven me and moved on so why can't the fans do the same?!" she says crying again. "hey it's ok, I'm here now" I say as georgia buries her head into my neck and sobs. "G, look at me" she lifts her head up and meets my eyes. I wipe a tear from her cheek and kiss her forehead. "thank you leah" "always. next time just text me so alex doesn't worry." "ok sorry" "no need to apologise, you've done plenty of that" I say bringing her back into a hug. she cuddles into me and lays her head back on my shoulder.
