woso one shots

leah & jordan - baby blu

jordan's pov:

leah and I are sitting at home, watching tv and not going much. we are both quite bored and don't really know what to do with ourselves. this seems to be happening a lot recently so I decide to make our home life more interesting.
"leah?" I say looking over at my girlfriend who is sitting next to me on the sofa.
"yes?"
"I'll be back in a minute I remembered I need to pick something up."
"ok? when will you be back?"
"I won't be long I promise. an hour maybe?"
"ok love you"
"love you too"

I grab my wallet and phone and put my shoes in before getting in my car and driving to the nearest pet store. the drive only takes 10 or so minutes so when I get there I park the car and walk into the shop. I walk up and down the aisles with a basket in hand and I pick up loads of things. I get a small dog bed, lots of food, toys, and a harness and lead. I pay and then put everything into the boot of the car.

I then go on a slightly longer drive as I have been texting this woman who is looking for people to adopt a puppy from a litter of sausage dogs she has. the drive takes roughly 45 minutes but I listen to music on the way so the time goes faster.

when i get there I park the car on the driveway and ring the doorbell. the lady greets me and leads me to the room where the all the puppies are. there are 5 of them and they are in a huge enclosed area. they are either sleeping or play fighting wit one and other. they are all so cute but one of them catches my eye. he is lying down playing with a tennis ball. I want him. he's so goofy and tiny and perfect.
"so? which puppy would you like?"
"the one furthest back please. does he have a name?"
"nope not yet! what would you like to call him?"
I stand still for a couple of seconds thinking about a couple of different names before deciding on the perfect one.
"blu"
"that's a great name, I'll get the paper work sorted and then you can pay and then you can take him home."
"great thanks"

half an hour later, i have payed and all the paper work is out of the way so I finally get to take little blu home.
"hey buddy!" I say quietly as I lift him up and hold him in my arms.
"thanks so much" I say to the woman.
"no problem, thank you"

I leave the house and carry my new dog to my car. I slowly get in and put him gently on my lap. I hold my hand out for him and he sniffs it, before booping it with his nose. I take a couple of treats out of the bag next to me and gives them to him. he gladly accepts them before lying down and putting his little head on my knee.

he stays that way the whole way home and when I get home and gently lift him up and get out the car. I open the door but don't say anything.
"jords? jordan? where are you?" I can hear leah say from inside the house.
I still don't say anything, instead I just put blu down on the floor and he runs in. I follow after him.
"surprise!" I say smiling at leah who is now holding blu in her arms. I walk over to her and kiss her.
"I love you so much" she says stroking blu's head.
"I love you too" I grin happily at leah and she kisses me quickly again.
