LAX's Pov
I shaded my eyes with my hand as I walked out of the airport, a movie-esque scene, but not only had I been in LA before I was home. I called an Uber, and as soon as I got in their car the jet lag hit me. I was dropped off at the statehouse and got my luggage out of the trunk. I took my key out of my purse and took a breath in as if I hadn't done this hundreds of times before. I walked in and my brain readjusted to the noise and chaos of the statehouse. At the moment I stepped in the room went silent, the first person to come up and hug me was my younger sibling Sacramento. Then my dad and soon I was in a pile of hugs from the people I love. I escaped their embrace, and told them I'd tell them all about it after I get unpacked. I took my suitcase upstairs and walked down the hall taking in the house I'd seen so many times. I opened my door and stood in my doorway. The walls were barren except for the one empty clipboard me and my twin decided to leave in our room. I looked at my brother's bed, he would be coming home tomorrow. We can all go to college at any time but me and San Francisco agreed to go at the same time. I grabbed onto the ladder and climbed up to my bunk. I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. I jerked awake at the sound of the door swinging open, I sat up and saw my twin brother standing in the doorway. I jumped down from my bed and ran up and hugged him. We unpacked together and headed downstairs and told Sacramento and their friends about all the fun things that happened at college. When I was worrying about my studies I hadn't realized how much I had missed everyone, especially my siblings. I was told I had slept for 16 hours and it was time to eat. We headed to a restaurant with my family, and a few other states and cities. We ate dinner and told more stories. It was especially interesting because we went to colleges in two different cities very far away from home and each other. When we were done eating my dad brought out cupcakes half chocolate and half vanilla like every birthday since we could vocalize our taste. The icing read 'Welcome home SF and LA.'
