I notice more often that (Y/N) doesn't pay attention in class which makes me worry even more. Why did he change so much? I decided to ask him after the lesson.
After lesson
He was out pretty fast so I run after him. Well I walk fast because running is prohibited in Cloud Recesses. When I am close enough I grab his wrist. He turns around and looks at me questioning.
S: "Why did you stop carrying your sword?"
Y: "Because I don't feel like it."
S: "But there has to be a reason."
Y: No, there isn't."
It goes back and forth for a while until he gets annoyed and starts screaming.
Y: "OK! Yeah, you're right there is a reason! You wanna know why I stopped carrying my sword?! It's because my golden core got crushed! It doesn't matter if I have it with me or not! I couldn't use it even if I wanted to! That's why I stopped carrying it around! Are you happy now?!
I am shocked. His core got crushed? How could this happen? How did I not notice? While I think about all the signs that I have missed he walks away. He didn't talk to me until the lessons were over. That day I wanted to talk to him before he left but I was to late. He already left.
