𝕴t was a sunny day to say the least, but it was far too warm for Hajime's liking. He preferred it cold and wet. He liked thunderstorms and heavy snow. However his boyfriend, Toru, generally liked the warm weather and would try be outside, basking in the sun as much as possible.

Today was no different, but this time Toru was trying to get Hajime to go outside with him, despite it being 27℃ (80.6℉ ?)Which was usually never going to happen.

And there was more than one reason he didn't want to go outside and face the sun. The ice cream Hajime tried to eat? Melted. The ice he tried to put in his glass of water to keep it cool? Melted. The cake he put on the side to eat for later? Icing melted. These were a few of a hundred reasons he didn't like warm weather. It seemed as if the universe truly hated him, and he had always accepted it. God was never on his side, but clearly "loved" Toru. He asked for a warm day he got it. Asked for his cake not to melt, he got it, Hajime was still a little salty about the cake.

Iwaizumi stared at his lover outside from the others big window in the living room. He was wearing a white tank top with grey shorts. Oikawa was straight up shirtless outside with his famous navy blue shorts on.

He watched him eating his cake that somehow hadn't melted overnight, grumbling a little bit before turning away. He really wanted some cake, preferably chocolate but any would do, but was far too stubborn to ask for some. Or at least he thought.

But hunger can be a backstabbing son of a bitch at times.

Before he knew it, his bare feet were taking him to the back garden where his love was sat on a white outdoor chair next to a wooden table, the beige wood surface had been recently wiped and was now fully useable as a table once again. He must of heard the others footsteps approaching because he turned just before Hajime reached him.

"Why hello darling~ what brings you outside? I thought you hated the weather?" He smirked, he figured he was going to ask for something. He looked like a nervous wreck. A small scowl on his face, eyes focused on the soft grass beneath his feet, hands fidgeting with the hem of his shirt. Something just made it obvious.

"Mmm.." he grumbled lowly. He quickly glanced at the half-eaten cake, then back at the grass. "Well.." his ego was about to be washed down the drain.

"My cake.. the icing melted overnight and the cake tastes horrid now. And uh- because the universe "loves" you or whatever, and it isn't melted.." "-you'd like to have some of mine" Oikawa finished off, already scooping some up on his fork. "Why of course love, anything for my likkle Babi." He lowly hushed. "Call me that again and I'm leaving." Hajime scowled back. But nevertheless he still ate the cake off the fork, and it was good. Like, really good. I suppose chocolate cake could never taste bad to him though.

He felt slightly humiliated, but for chocolate cake.. he wasn't lying when he said he'd do anything for chocolate cake.

Oikawa couldn't help but awe at the face Hajime made, his cheeks were puffed, eyes shut down it's little creases at the end. Just super cute in general.

Skip to about 3 hours later, the sun has set and they were both inside, sat on their bed.

They were sat on their king sized bed, watching some random show on Netflix, which was displayed on their 8 inch flat tv screen across the room.Toru leaning against the head rest with his legs spread open. Hajime next to him slightly leaned on his chest with his hand on Toru's stomach, also staring at the tv screen, lost in thought. There was a plate with a big slice of cake and a small fork stuck into the cake. Every now and then they would each take a bit of cake.

By a bit I mean Toru took a small amount and Hajime took around 3 spoonfuls each turn. This was honestly the only way either could be bothered to communicate. Both were hot and bothered due to the weather. It was nice though, and they enjoyed their day nonetheless.
