"Look at this one," I said pointing to the meme I found on Pinterest I was resting my head on Lees's shoulder as he was doing the same as me, he looked over and chuckled the rest of the boys were talking about baseball, sometimes Lee felt like he was the only one I could talk to that wouldn't change it into baseball.
"Ok, ima heading to my locker early," I said standing up Lee nodded as the boys waved bye, I rolled my eyes and threw my trash away making my way to the locker, I turned the corner to see someone leaning against it on his phone as I got a bit closer and had the biggest smile ever.
"Jake" I breathed out and started running towards him.
"Jake!" I yelled he looked over and put his phone away just in time, I jumped and wrapped my legs around his waist and put my head in the crook of his neck. I could feel tears coming down my cheeks, happy tears. I haven't seen him in a year he and I were dating for a year before he had to move so we did a long-distance relationship.
"Hey bonnie," He said gently as he wrapped his arms around me tightly I looked at him and smiled wiping my tears away he leaned in and kissed me I couldn't be happier to see him I missed his green eyes and blond hair. I pulled back and we rested our foreheads together.
"When did you get here?!" I said as he set me down.
"Umm bout 2 hours ago" I couldn't help but keep on smiling, seeing his smile made me feel safe and comforted I loved him and he loved me too.
"Oh god, I still can't believe it!" I squealed which rarely happened, he just smiled and pulled me into a hug, she buried her head in his chest and he put his chin on her head.
"I love you. You know that right?" He said quietly I nodded.
"I love you too"

Today was amazing! Other than Jake having to go the next day it was still my best day, I closed my front door behind me quietly my father was here I don't call him dad or father I call him by his name because he is no kind of dad to me. What kind of dad hits their only daughter?
"Bonnie is that you?" He slurred I cursed under my breath knowing what was going to happen next.
"Yes," I said in a duh tone coming to him I had no patience I am a short-tempered person, just like him.
"Don't speak to me like that young lady," He said stumbling towards me.
"Sorry, actually no I'm not sorry," I said hastily. well, he didn't like that because the next thing I know I'm punched in the stomach, he rarely hits or slaps my face since everyone sees my face so he goes for the stomach. I groaned and slid down the door as he kicked me in the ribs before stumbling back to his office.
"Well there goes my day" I mumble I tried to move but it hurt too bad. I grabbed my phone and texted the boy's group chat.
My boys:
Bonnie: Hey guys I won't be able to make it
Lee: Whyyyyy? You're going to leave me with these idiots?
James: Ouch man
Lee: Well it's true! It's baseball all the time
Lucas: Lee, James shut up. Bon why can't you come?
Bonnie: I forgot I had something to do sorry guys
Lucas: That's bullshit he hit you again didn't he?!
Noah: Bon is that true?
Bonnie: No guys omg I'm telling you I'm seriously doing something!
Lucas: Fine but tomorrow if you have a scratch on you ill kill him
Bonnie: Ok, I have to go now love yall
Lee: Love youuuu!!!!
James: Love ya
Lucas: Love you
I sighed as I finally got upstairs, I dropped my bag and phone on my bed and decided to shower. I took my clothes off and looked at my stomach in the mirror, it was already starting to bruise. I got in the shower letting the warmth of the water consume me and I could feel my muscles relax.

I lay on my bed holding an ice pack to my stomach and listening to my music, just staring at the ceiling. My music stopped and I looked at my phone to see Ollie calling me which was strange he usually is never on his phone. I quickly answered it hoping nothing was wrong.
"Hello?"
"Hey Bon there is a game tonight and the guys want you here"
"Don't you want me there too?" I said playfully.
"Of course Bonnie," He said with a chuckle.
"Ok, what time?" I asked crawling out of bed and heading to my closet.
"Ummm..." He said hesitantly
"Ollie.." I groaned.
"Fifteen minutes"
"OLLIE"
"See you here bye!" With that, he hung up. I'll just yell at them when I get there I threw their jersey on it was Lucas's. They all gave me their jersey so every game I wore a different one, I threw some light jeans on and put my hair in a messy bun, and threw my shoes on. I carefully walked out the door and started walking.
Didn't they realize that it's at least a twenty-minute walk to get there? I made a mental note to get a job for a car ooo' or better yet a motorcycle I have always wanted one of them.

"I made it!" I said as I approached the field the boys looked over and smiled I pointed to Ollie who had a sheepish smile I couldn't help but smile.
"I call Bon for practice," Lucas said hurriedly and grabbed my upper arm. All the boys groand a no fair and I just giggled. Lucas handed me my glove and we started tossing the ball.
"So what's the actual reason you didn't come over?" He said it surprised me how fast it took him to ask. I didn't look at him which seemed a good enough answer for him.
"Bonnie! I told you to tell me if he did it again!" He said walking over I held back my tears as he hugged me, I winced a bit so he loosened his grip a bit but didn't let go.
"Can I kill him now?" He said in a whisper as he hugged me a bit tighter as if I might disappear.
"No" I breathed out. We both know what would happen if my dad wasn't in the picture anymore.
