Maybe he's sick? No. That can't be.
Anna just told my mother that's he's doing well. Is it because of me? Is he suddenly not around because of me?
It's all because of me isn't it?
I like Grayson. I like him a lot.
And I think he feels the same.
What's stopping him? The thought of us in general? Is it because I'm too young for him? Or is it that girl on his lock screen?
"Indovina chi viene a cena!," (Guess who's coming for dinner!) — Mamá says excitedly.
"Chi?" (Who?) — I ask, genuinely curious. Mamá's shoulders sag at my response.
"Anna and her family!" She says in a 'duh' tone. My eyebrows shoot up. That means Grayson will be here. I haven't seen him since 2 days ago where he put the flower behind my ear and looked at me weirdly.
I definitely had something on my hair that day.
2 hours passed by and I finally hear loud talking downstairs. They're here.
I start cracking my nuckles and biting my lip. I'm nervous. Well of course I'm nervous. Grayson is basically my first ever crush!
I walk down stairs looking down so that I don't look straight at Grayson. Once I reach the bottom step I bump into a hard chest.
I look up immediately and see Graysons green eyes.
I'm so close to him. I think I'm hyperventilating.
I quickly step back. Grayson must be a 'no physical touch' person.
"Uh" he finally speaks up, "I was going to come up and get you." He says awkwardly. I look up at him and give him a tight lipped smile and walk past him.
Yeah he definitely doesn't like me.
Todays dinner Grayson sat next to me. Every once in a while our knees would touch and it made my goosebumps reappear each time it happened.
I tried not to look at him. But it's so hard when he's just 2 inches away from me.
Dinners over now and the parents are back downstairs in the wine room.
