For the first time in ages Malekith was once again feeling an emotion he thought he'd never feel again......fear. In front of him was one of them, one of the cold blooded exterminators that nearly decimated the entire race of dark elves, a Viltrumite.

Malekith: "H-How?, you're all supposed to be dead" he said while extremely frightened

Just when Zeke was about to speak, the All-Father came barging into the room along with Thor

Odin: "Frigga!" He exclaimed with worry while rushing over to her

Frigga: "Don't worry, I am well, he saved me." She said gesturing to Zeke

Odin then looked to Zeke, and nodded his head gratefully. Which the Viltrumite responded by nodding back, Odin then shifted his eyes to Malekith who was still shocked from his encounter with Zeke. Odin's face then shifted to one of pure fury

Odin: "You must be Malekith.....Die" he said coldly

Odin then raised his hand and blasted Malekith with the Odin Force, however before the attack could reach, Kurse dashed in front of Malekith and threw him off the balcony allowing him to escape, Kurse wasn't so lucky, the blast hit him head on which completely obliterated him, leaving nothing left but dust and also destroying most of the building in the process

Zeke: "Hmm, that one was sturdier than I thought, I'm surprised he could move like that with a hole in his chest" said casually

Odin: "The Kursed are said to survive in even the worst conditions, and the only way to get rid of them is behead them or obliterate them into nothing" he said sternly

Zeke: "Noted" he said

Thor: "What do we do now?, Malekith got away and is now completely undetectable to us" he said

Zeke: "He wont attack again for some time, this was a bad loss on his end, he'll need time to recover and plan for his next assault" he said calmly

Odin: "He's right, both He and I are unknown variables for Malekith, he'll definitely think twice before attacking again. For now we should focus on casualties." He said

Thor: "I'll get on it right away" he said as he took off to find survivors

Zeke: "I get I'm an unknown variable but how are you?" he asked

Odin: "Because although he likely expected a different king, I'm more powerful than my Father, and that was most certainly outside of his expectations" he said calmly

Zeke: "hmm, interesting" he said before blasting off to help Thor

Frigga: ".....I forgot to thank him" she said

Odin: "I assume you'll have plenty of opportunities to do so, now come let's get you to the infirmary" he said while picking up his wife and carrying her to the healers

Zeke and Thor led the effort in helping survivors, surprisingly not many civilians died, on the contrary however many Asgardian Soldiers fell in battle. A large funeral for the deceased was held that night. While many were sad at the casualties, others were also celebrating their brief victory. After the ceremony, Zeke went back to his room to rest. He knew a great battle would be coming and he knew he'd need to be prepared. As Zeke was pondering a knock came to his door.
