Danielle's POV

We are back home , I love traveling in Europe but being home it's the best feeling ever.
It's dark outside , obviously, it's 4 am , I'm so tired , my bed is all I need , and a hot, very hot shower !

We went our separate way when we arrived at the airport.
Stefania needed to go back to her house and So did I.

We didn't talk much

We just pretended like nothing major had happened few hours ago.

We didn't touch each other.

We didn't wanted to be to suspicious

We all hugged, except us two and left in our respective cars.
My sister is picking me up today, I missed her a lot and my baby boy as well.
Stefania called an Uber to get back and her ride was already here so we didn't have much time to say our super duper long farewell unfortunately, it needed to be fast .

Before she steps into her Uber, Stefania told me softly while no one was paying attention " bambina, I will let you know when I'm arrived, we will talk about our situation later okay , go home and rest a bit and say hi to your sister and little chicken for me okay."

I nod and gave her a small smile " ok I will ,I will miss you , anyway, tell me when you're home so I know you arrived safely okay and kiss princess Jeff alright!"

" see ya bambina "
" bye Stef , don't forget to let me know when-"
"When I'm arrived I know , yes bambina " she replied laughing , she has the most beautiful smile

"Hey Stef, sorry I took a bit of time founding my luggage, you know how it is ! " I said finally stepping inside my sister black SUV

" Hey sis " she replied while taking in her arms quickly " Is that the only reason of your lateness girl !? "

" yeah ...I mean no really , I was just saying goodbye to everyone so yeah , you didn't wait to long right!"

" she's fine I guess, considering the news she had received this morning "
" what happened ? You're worrying me now D"
" I don't know if I'm allowed to say much , but in short she's not single and he cheated on her while we were in Europe, she was so sad and pissed , so am I , you know me " I said smiling awkwardly, my sister knows EVERYTHING about what going on , she knew before I did that I was definitely attracted too much to Stef
" oh shoot ... well he's not worthy of her then ! " she replied keeping her eyes in front of her " hm did you tell her ?"

" yes , I'm listening "

My sister finally looked at me and I could see how shocked she was , I can tell by her body language that she's proud and very excited and eager to know all the details...

" you did ? And how did she react tell me everything, I'm so proud of you , I know it's not easy , specially for you, but you did it good job girl ! " she said

" I said that I loved her while she was telling me about the dustbin boyfriend , she loves me too you know..."

" oh I never doubt that facts D"

" I did panic a little obviously, I mean the situation is messy , and we -we kissed "
I was surprised when my sister just parked abruptly the car and turned to face me

" you guys KISSED, really ! So what are you now, you're still friends or ...you know " she asked me

" well very good question Sherlock, we are friends or something , at least for now , I mean we need time to think things through and she didn't talk to Her guy yet so ...yup I don't really know what we're exactly but I know she loves me as much I love her , that's for sure and it's the only things that matters...right " I replied to her softly

Honestly...

I sincerely doubt we can go back to pretending being "simply and only " friends but we can't rush either because if we don't take the time to get properly together, we won't last and it will impact our work life ...

I don't even know if Shanda will allowed us or if she will fired us immediately as she found out we're are together

"You're right, I'm sure things will get better D , anyway let's get home , a little guy have been missing his mummy a lot lately "

" I can't wait to see my baby "

"oh , I forgot, I brought you groceries because there was candies but no food in this apartment! She said laughing
What would I do without her , I'm so grateful for my big sis !
" well thanks sis you didn't have too , I love candies! "
" candies isn't FOOD Dani ! " she said laughing . My sister KNOWS how much I love candies, I can't help it
The rest of the ride home was great !

We put some of our favorite classics from the 90's and early 2000 and sing a long until we arrived.

I love those kind of moment of freedom !

But even if I was spending such a great time with my sister , I kept in the corner of my mind Stefania.

I'm worried and I can't really help myself, you never know when it comes to Uber , I'm probably way to addict to Law and Order: Special Victims Unit.
All those story are all inspired of real events 😅😅

So I'm waiting with my phone in my hand patiently...

How was your summer break ?

i was unable to write during my family trip, but i am working on a few chapters ( 4 to be precise) , so if all goes as planned you will get some updates very soon
hope you enjoy this chapter , it's a bit short sorry about that, I actually cut it in two to keep the chapter atmospheres light
The next one will be a bit more intense
