Jisung could only stare at the messages with wide eyes. He knew he'd messed up, but he really didn't want to get hurt like he was last time. Jisung had been hesitant to open his heart to someone since then. Felix was an amazing person though and Jisung would love to at least stay friends with him if he didn't have a chance to be with him, but the boy didn't think it was possible to remain close without feelings, and that would hurt him a lot so distancing himself was the only logical option he could think of.

Felix didn't deserve this though, being ignored without an explanation wasn't fair on anyone. Jisung tangled his hands in his hair, tugged as if that would help him think in this situation, and eventually started typing.

Jisung sighed, he felt absolutely terrible.. Felix had been crying because of him. He tugged his hair even harder and tried to mentally prepare himself for the answer he was about to receive.

Jisung stared at the screen rereading the text over and over. He was beyond confused. Felix didn't have anyone?

For some reason, Jisung stayed in denial and kept making up random excuses in his head. The one he settled on implied Felix was just mad at him and didn't want to tell him the truth so he lied about having a special someone in his life.
