Venice narrowed his eyes as those eyes shine; reflecting the twilight. He sat by the sea wall, his gaze was fixed to the vast seas that holds small fishing boats. He heard the fishermen calling it a day as the darkness is near to envelope the Earth.

The cold breeze smoothly dancing through the air, making his somehow long brown hair dance with it.
Venice felt someone sits beside him; no signs of threat but more likely a friendly one.

“You are Venice, right?” Khun Kael asked.

Venice glanced at him sideways, examining Khun Kael’s features. The one who got his attention is his very evident scar on the left eye. Hence, he really resembles his sons. The smooth feature as Tankhun but at the same time sharp eyes and facial structure like Kinn.

Kael smiled a little on him.

“Nice to meet you.” The old man said and extended his hand for a handshake.

Venice didn’t react much but instead of a handshake, he placed the flash drive on his hands silently. Khun Kael nodded as if he was already expecting that response.

“Why don’t you go back?” Venice curiously asked him.

Khun Kael was shock for a while before the two of them stares at the view of the sea.

“If I go back… will it change something?” The old man asked him back. “I was buried in the past; I am the character from the past.”

“Maybe Uncle No and Uncle Kinn wants to meet you.” He tried to persuade him.

Khun Kael let out a downward smile and gave Venice a shoulder tap. “There is no need to return when I know they found life without me.”

Venice felt silent when he heard his answer. He grew up with a complete and loving family that maybe it is easy for him to ask Khun Kael to comeback and appear.

“Why didn’t you come to save Mag and Caleb?”

“Because I trust Kinn.” Khun Kael responded with a beam of happiness in his eyes. “I know my sons will protect the people they love… the thing I didn’t had a chance to do.” He said kind of reminiscing something.

Venice nodded, not trying anymore to convince him of showing himself.

Khun Kael finally lived a separate life just like what Khun Korn has always wanted. Tankhun and Kinn are also living their best life with their family.

Also…” Venice stares at Khun Kael when the old man was about to say something. “I know that sooner or later… Kinn and Tankhun will also meet their another brother.”

“What?” Venice asked in shock after those words came out from Khun Kael. “Not Uncle Kim?”

Khun Kael chuckle since Kim is Khun Korn’s only son. “The world is small. There will be a moment that you might meet my son and grandsons.” He said and stands up.

Venice looks up as he watches Khun Kael kept the flash drive on his pocket. The old man messes his hair; making him furious and fixed it.

“Go home now, young man.” Khun Kael said and waved his hands. “Goodbye.”

Venice and Khun Kael parted ways in the port as the secret inside the flash drive was only between the two of them.
