There's about two months left until school starts.

I'm making steady progress. One lesson in Arithmetic, one lesson in Geometry each day. I've even made time to start Biology and Chemistry, and even Chinese.

So far, so good—including Tobirama.

Tobirama's a nice roommate, honestly speaking. Clean, effective, dangerously sharp, both in terms of academic achievement and street smart. He's even helped me out with my Maths whenever I'm on the verge of pulling all my hair out. Everything about him is great, except for the fact that he's probably way too reserved for his age—I mean who stays quiet for most of the day at the age of 23? But then again, I guess each individual is different. The best thing I can do is respect him.

Over the past month, I've also learned that Tobirama has an older brother, Hashirama, who is 26.

Naturally, the question is: why doesn't he share this apartment with his older brother?

When I asked him this precise question, he simply sighed and rubbed his temples.

"You'll understand when he pays me a visit."

It turns out today is the day Hashirama's visiting.

As usual, I'm the one who goes to get food for all of us. Tobirama specifically asked for ramen and dango for Hashirama, to which I obliged, as well as an extra helping of kaya dumplings and kumquat juice. As the elevator moves up the floors, I laugh at the small thought that my undying passion for kaya dumplings and kumquat juice has rubbed off on pretty much everyone I know here. Even the landlady has grown fond of this food combination.

I let myself in.

At the dining table are two men. One is obviously Tobirama. The other, who must be Hashirama, has long, dark hair, tanned skin, twinkling dark eyes, and is talking nonstop about something with energetic gestures. Tobirama, on the other hand, is silent as usual. And he actually looks annoyed for some reason.

"Hi there." I give Hashirama my go-to friendly smile. "You must be Hashirama."

"Oh, so this is the new roommate you told me about, Tobirama?" Hashirama's attention is instantly on me as I distribute the food among us. "You're [y/n], correct?"

"Yes I am."

"What are those?" Hashirama immediately points to the kaya dumplings, curiosity radiating from him like a child who just discovered a ladybug.

I laugh and introduce him to kaya dumplings like I did with Tobirama. He doesn't even wait for me to finish my small lecture to grab a dumpling, entirely ignoring the ramen and dango, occasionally commenting on how good kaya dumplings taste.

I can see how Tobirama can't stand staying with his brother. They're polar opposites.

"Where are you staying, Hashirama?" I ask him as I take a bite of ramen. I've grown fond of Ichiraku Ramen like everyone here—can't be helped since the owner is a kind old man and the taste is simply the best.

"Unfortunately, my dear little brother here," he claps an arm around Tobirama's shoulders, to which Tobirama reacts with a please-cut-this-crap face, "can't stand staying near me within a two-kilometer radius, so I have no choice but to stay about half an hour's drive away from the center of Konoha," he grins, and I almost choke on my ramen in laughter.

"Seriously? It's that bad?"

Hashirama shrugs, pouting. "You tell me."

I laugh again. Hashirama's cute.

"How is it staying with my little brother?"

"He's nice. Except for the fact that he's a bit too reserved."

"Ah, don't mind him, he's in his adolescence rebellious period."

I try desperately to bite back a laugh, but it fails miserably into a snort. "Nah, I wouldn't say so."

"I heard Tobirama say you're about to start school at Konoha University. How are things going?"

"Studying beforehand has been going well, and Tobirama here has also helped me out a great deal. Thanks for asking."

"Glad to hear that." Hashirama then turns to his brother, his expression suddenly serious. "Be nice to [y/n]. If you're mean to girls then you know what's in store for you."

Tobirama rolls his eyes so hard I can't help but worry if they're going to get stuck in the back of his head. "I'm not mean, Hashirama."

I can laugh all day at the dynamic between the two brothers. They're like fire and ice, but they still have their cute brotherly moments.

"Alright, now if you'll excuse me, I'll take leave and get back to my room now." I stand up and clear up the trash as usual.

"Don't, [y/n], don't!" Hashirama yells.

I raise an eyebrow. "Yes, Hashirama?"

"How about we go around Konoha for the rest of the day? You too, Tobirama!" Hashirama punches Tobirama's shoulder playfully, only garnering an annoyed grunt in response.

"That sounds nice." I'm finished with my workload for the day anyway, so why not? "Let's go!"

So as things would have it, Hashirama and I are walking in the front with a sulky, arms-crossed Tobirama behind us.

"How much have you seen of Konoha, [y/n]?"

"Hmm...I've only been to some coffee shops, and I can say I've visited pretty much all the street food stands."

"Oh, I love the street food. Ever tried the okonomiyaki?"

"Yeah, it was delicious!"

"Truth be told, that's one of my favorites."

"What are your other favorites? Let me guess...kaya dumplings and kumquat juice?" My eyes twinkle.

Hashirama laughs heartily. "Yeah, you got me right there!" We pass a few plazas, which Hashirama introduces to me in a few sentences. "Here's the Yokoso Plaza. The most miscellaneous plaza, meaning people sell at all price ranges. A very well-rounded plaza if you ask me. Also on the top of my list if you ever want to check any plazas out here. Over here is the Taiyou Plaza. Rather high-end, but the quality of the goods is superb...Oh, here's our most visited cinema!"

We've stopped in front of a classy building with a billboard that reads Tsuki Cinema.

"Want to go watch a movie?" Hashirama jabs a thumb inside.

"Sure, why not? What's there to watch?"

"How about we watch...Bad Genius?"

My hands come together in a loud clap of recognition. "Oh, that Thai movie! I've heard my friends talk about it. They said it was well worth every penny. I never got the chance to watch it though, so yeah, I'm down for it!"

"That's settled then!" Hashirama turns back to address Tobirama. "And you, little brother? Care to join?"

"Whatever."

"Mood dampening as always," Hashirama chuckles. "I'll go get the tickets. Y'all can pay me back later."

"Alrighty!"
