[Author's message]

Merry Christmas everybody! As a Christmas bonus and also by way of apology for not updating last week, I'll update two parts tonight.

P.S. Apparently #1 in #tobirama didn't last lol, but I'm still glad I made it, even if it was for a short period of time. Again, many thanks to all my readers and supporters, and I wish you all a merry, warm Christmas!

Now, get yourself a mug of warm tea/coffee/hot chocolate, or your favorite drink, and please enjoy the newest two parts of My Roommate Is My Sensei.

Tobirama's fever isn't going down anytime soon.

Albeit being the elder brother, Hashirama was vetoed almost on the spot when it fell upon either [y/n] or him to take care of Tobirama.

So for the night, Hashirama is sent to [y/n]'s room to accompany little Tsunade. Meanwhile, [y/n] is staying in Tobirama's room, just so she can deal with any emergency before it gets out of hand.

"Won't you be cold lying on the floor?" Part of him would do anything to have her right next to him in his bed, but the other part argues that she'll catch his fever, and that's without question the last thing either of them wants.

"I'm fine," she answers as she spreads the futon out on the floor. "I have a futon and a blanket, don't worry."

"So, um..." he clears his throat. "What's the basin for?"

"If you heave in the middle of the night."

"Oh." He feels a bit stupid—something that is extremely uncharacteristic of him. "Surprising how you got one of these." He mutters.

"From my home back in Nagoya. I always have at least one in case of times like this."

"Right." He watches her arrange her things for a while. "Will you be...fine? I mean, still up and running for school tomorrow."

"I'm cutting classes tomorrow."

A few seconds of silence. "You...you don't have to."

"You've helped me on so many occasions, Tobirama." A pause. "And you're my favorite roommate-sensei." Her tone is so very soft, yet he can still hear her perfectly.

A gentle smile.

"Thanks."

She smiles. "Thank you, Tobirama."

The night is quiet.

She's still wide awake, staring at the ceiling as she listens to Tobirama's slow, deep breaths.

It happens every now and then: though extremely worn out, sleep doesn't come and pull her into its sweet, warm embrace as fast as she'd like it to. Times like this require patience and true relaxation—things that are, ironically, extremely difficult to achieve when one desperately wants to sleep.

She sighs as she flips to her side.

The moon is shining bright tonight, along with a few stars that are dotting the dark night sky like diamonds.

Beautiful.

Her grandmother always told her, one's loved ones aren't really gone when they pass away. Their souls will go up into those stars, so that they can watch over those who still remain on the face of earth.

Are you watching over me right now, like you promised you would?
