"Where is the treasure? There's nothing here! This is one great, big stinking hunk of nothing!"

The moment the scream was heard, Jonah blinked into awakening. The sky was dark, clouds rolling as if a storm was coming. He was standing behind a group of pirates of various alien species at the edge of a cliff with a deep abyss beyond them, the blue-eyed cabin boy and the cyborg captain in the group became the center of attention. The boy was tinkering with a familiar object that made Jonah's eyes widen: a bronze orb with circular patterns. A similar object that he had.

"We should've never followed this boy!"

One of the aliens pushed the cabin boy to the ground. Before he could let out a protest, something on the ground caught his attention. Even from where he stood, Jonah somehow could see what it was: a half-sphere hole with circular patterns, a perfect fit for the orb. Jonah gasped in realization. And as if they had the same idea, the boy slammed the orb into the hole. A neon green light came out from the settled orb, lightning up the ground in an intricate pattern and spreading throughout the metallic floor. A holographic sphere with dots like stars ascended from the orb which reminded Jonah of a globe. But before the cabin boy could touch anything, a bright neon green light suddenly shot up from the abyss right on the edge of the cliff, before forming a vertical line on thin air. It spreads out, before settling into a triangular formation and revealing a bright galaxy, the Nebula rolling like waves of the sea.

"A big door opening and closing... So that's how he did it. He used this portal to roam the universe stealing treasure."

"But where'd he stash it all?"

The cabin boy chuckled at the frustrated cyborg captain, before reaching to press a symbol of a planet with two asteroid rings and forming an 'x' on the globe.

"Just open the right door."

The gate opened one last time and Jonah could see heaps of gold, coins, and gems littered on the ground beyond the gate. The pirate cheered, the cabin boy looked around in wonder, and the cyborg captain spoke in a voice filled with awe.

"The loot of a thousand worlds..."

And then, Jonah woke up.

The light of early dawn peaked through his curtain, giving a small ray of light into his dark room. Jonah let out a sigh, throwing his arm over his head. Another dream about the pirate crew, but for some reason, he felt like this would be the last.

They found it. They actually found the treasure.

Turning to his side he saw the bronze orb, the exact replica of the one in his dream, sitting on his windowsill. That thing was a map in his dream...

Oh.

Somehow, suddenly everything made sense. That orb is also a treasure map. But instead of gold, it leads to overblot. It made sense now why it never open when he tried willingly on regular days. It didn't call him at random, but only when overblot was close. He had his guesses and now he had somewhat a confirmation. The visions were his trail, his path to follow, to fulfill the story-

Wait. Why does it have to be the Great Seven though?

And why does he get dreams instead of the orb showing him?

"Jonah..." Jonah looked down at the cat who was sleeping next to him. Grim looked up at him with half lid eyes.

Jonah pulled an apologetic smile. "Sorry. Did I wake you up?"
