Charles felt troubled. Maybe it was because of the trouble at the sea. Or because the French queen consort shared a resemblance to Anne Boylen. He had tried to meet with her. She had denied his request. He was to act as a special envoy. "The queen is in labor." As a royal tradition in France, he witnessed the birth. She had given birth to twins. If she was Anne Boylen, then Prince Edward was a bastard.

He would finally get his chance to speak to her. "Your majesty, I'm happy to see you are healthy. My sire and his wife, Queen Jane, would wish to be godparents." The queen looked at her translator. She began to speak in French. She smiled at him in smugness. "I am glad marriage plans have started already." The French had started marriage plans for them. That meant one thing she had her husband's ear.

She was Anne Boylen. He knew the moment she smiled at him. "How is the young prince Edward 's health?" Charles froze at that question. He didn't know the rumors reached France. He walked away. The king planned on visiting France. Henry couldn't demand Francios to hand over his wife A wife who had given birth to twins.

First, he had to leave France. Charles was happy to see his wife. Charles saw the look on his wife's face. Catherine Brandon felt disgusted. "You haven't heard, Charles. Before the bitch died, she gave birth to two boys and two girls. The king wishes me to be a governess to one of them. And for you to take one of those boys as a ward."

Catherine loathed Anne with every fiber of being. Charles had brought those rumors to Henry. "I will speak to the king." Charles had to tell the King about Anne being alive. Charles saw the children. Henry was playing with them. Charles could understand why the Seymours saw the boys as threats to Prince Edward.

"The queen consort of France looks like their mother." Henry followed Charle's eyes. Henry had missed Anne. The thought of Anne being alive and the wife of Francois made him sick. "Leave court with your wife. Your grace." Charles left the room.

Jane Seymour was hurting. She wouldn't show it. She was to endure it. "The bastards have been placed in Edward's household," Thomas said. Jane had dismissed her ladies. It was only important family members in her chambers.

Jane listened to what her brother was saying. Jane didn't have an opinion. She was raised to be focused on wifely matters. "We have lord Brandon on our side, Thomas. There is no need to worry," Edward said.

"Brandon can always switch sides like he did with Anne. Brandon told the king the harlot was entering men in her chambers," Thomas said. Edward didn't want to admit but his brother was right.

"Brandon let an innocent woman die because of his hatred," Edward said. Jane covered her mouth. She was shocked. "The people don't believe she had that many lovers," Edward continued. "She was innocent," Jane said.

Edward smacked his forehead. "The court tried her," Jane said. "The court would vote anyone guilty for the king," Edward said.
