[13] Comforting Night With You.

As Benjamin slowly tucked the two spooky kids in, he'd admire the two that peacefully hugged one another in their deep sleep together as the two held a very wholesome friendship with one another. Even at points calling each other brothers which touched his heart. Trashi companying the two as she curled up in a ball as if she mimicked a cotton ball while sleeping near the two.

''Gosh, maybe giving them sugar did fucking work.'' The ginger chuckled while placing away the last toy that sat on the carpet inside of the chest bin that sat at the edge of Skid's bed on his knees.

"The two did pass out pretty good but it's 1 AM now..'' He replied in a worried tone as Pico said the two needed to be in bed before 12 AM as it already was 1 AM.

The ginger shut the top of the bin as he'd soon popped both of his knuckles as they'd crack together in sync. Making a satisfying noise as too his neck popped on both of it's sides.

''Well hey, you aren't too shabby. They pretty much listened to you straight away without even needing to learn about you first.'' Pico stated as it took for them a bit to earn a bonding as at first it was pretty awkward. Thankfully those days were over now as Pico and them see each other as non-blood related family honestly.

''I- I'm not? I mean, this was my first time with kids as it was pretty tiring but not so bad..?''

Benjamin always disliked the idea on owning kids. Though he couldn't really produce any anyways. And no, he doesn't hate kids. He just worries on how he'd take care of them. Being unstable himself, he'd feel terrible if he didn't give them a good enough life.

''You were pretty good today blueberry, proud of you.'' Pico crawled over on his knees only, soon patting his back gently as he made sure he wasn't being fast with his touches. Realizing Softie was a bit off key when it came to being touched as he was able to read him quite well these past months.

Benjamin looked up at the ginger who sat by his side as the painters eyes glowed like fireworks in the night sky, never feeling so praised before ever in his life as he took those words to heart, literally.

''You- are?'' He'd reply while slightly leaning his back into the touch of his warm palm as Benjamin grown comfortable near the ginger. Though, some parts of him were terrified due to not liking his extremely thin body.

''Why wouldn't I be?'' Replied the street artist in confusion as an eyebrow would raise up on his forehead.

''Honestly it was pretty much easier today with you helping. Even if the two ran off constantly from us.'' He'd mumble with a long sigh afterwards as that was tiring experience. Trip after trip trying to hunt for the two as it felt like an on going game of hide and seek.

''Uhm- y- yeah..'' He'd giggle nervously as the whole reason why they ran off again was because the two boys were too busy sharing with one another a long kiss. He was shocked that nobody shamed them for it, nor questioned it. He never felt time slow down so quickly as the feeling of Pico bringing him close with the touch of his hand near his hip up to his waist caused for him wanting to burst into a stimming mess but knew he should hold that in for later purposes.

The ginger soon yawned, standing himself up as it was obvious he was tired. So being Benjamin as today was a long experience he's never step foot in before till now.

''Well.. I'll show you the room we're sleeping in, I forgot to today from how busy we got preparing dinner for them.'' He said with a chuckle while scratching the back of his messy ginger hair. Benjamin's blue cotton candy hair being an entire hot mess too.

''Oh yeah-!'' Benjamin shot up onto his two feet as he'd follow the ginger behind like a lost kitten, not thinking much of it as he'd do anything for sleep at the moment.




As the two boys approached the closed door, Pico twisted the knob as he'd quietly open the creaking door in order to not wake up the two spooky kids in order for the two to at least have some decent sleep tonight. Well, today actually..
