i breathe in so deeply
my line of vision blurscracked hearts
treaded
as my hardships bloomedtrembling little girl in the schoolyard sandbox
full of pinched nerves and tv static
she traces her stickmen in the ruinsyears later
the lovely fragments of her heart configures
into a relic, a trophy
all to be put on displayi'm so out of reach
with my younger self
constantly reminiscing the simplicity
of being pure againmy innocence has been robbed of me
stolen, and never to be returned
