Manik came out his thoughts, "Bhaiya.... Kaha ho aap? Apne promise Kiya na .... Kabi mujhe akele chodke nahi jaoge! Please... Wapas ajao" He chocked to himself felt his vision blurry
Abhi who was watching noticed him swaying rushed "Kiddo ...!"
Manik felt his conscious losing.. yet focussed on staring at entrance...felt a blurred figure rushing towards..... Closed his eyes completely letting his body fall, "bhai..ya!"
Abhi stopped in his tracks as before him a protective hand stopped his fall let out the breath which he was holding smiled in relief.
Arjun who had rushed back as soon as he can, as his mobile isn't with him n had no way to contact. As soon he entered he saw his brother waiting for him at the entrance frowned at his stance who is about to fall rushed in lightening speed held his waist preventing the fall, "Bacha...!" gently touched his cheek took aback as his skin burned, tapped softly, "Mannu....bacha...utho!"
As he didn't open eyes, Arjun bent down keeping hand under his knees lifted him up n carried to his own room. While Abhi n Akshu followed him silently.
Lowering him on bed, he glanced at them, "Kya hua? Iska badan itna garam kyu hai?"
Abhi sat on otherside of bed replied, "Tumhare fhikar me!" N told him everything.
Arjun closed eyes in pain as his state is because of him, "yeh sab kya hai Arjun? TV mei kya araha tha!" Abhi enquired.
Caressing Manik's head softly, "batata hu... Pehle mannu ko dekho!"
Abhi nodded n checked him, taking temperature, "Bahut teez bhukar hain...... Akshu ek bowl mei tandhe pani aur kapde lekar avo." He stated.
He noticed the Bp falling down frowned "Bp itna low kaise hua? Kal tho theek tha na!"
"Kuch nahi khaya usne... Raat baar waha door ke paas khada tha... Tere raah dekhte!" He mumbled removing the machine n kept it aside.
Akshu coming inside handed the things to Arjun who wetted the cloth n squeezed out extra water n gently placed on Manik's forehead n repeated the actions.
Abhi staring at him, "Ab batao... Kya hua?" He asked. Arjun still keeping cold strips told them everything what happened.
They got angry hearing him, "Yeh sab kya hai bhai? How can ACP Rathore be so blinded in anger. Aap chup kyu rehte ho? Agar...aaj mannu ko kuch hojata toh?" Akshu asked in angry tone.
"Calm down Akshu.... Jab tak mei hu... Hum sab hai... Mannu ko kuch nahi hoga." He replied gently though he was very angry n upset at Sameer.
The three got worried as manik thrashed on bed calling out for Arjun, "Pleass...baba... Mujhe...akele chodke mat jao!"
Arjun held his hands restricting the movements pulled him closer to chest tightly, "Shh...mannu... I...am with you! You are not alone!" While Abhi restricted his leg movements.
Slowly Manik stopped moving.... Watching which Abhi left the hold. Arjun pulled him closer comforted him, "Bas...baby! I'm here.... You are not alone!"
Manik slowly opened his eyes...felt himself against a familiar hold, "Baba...!"
"Haa... Bacha... Mei hu!" Arjun replied kissing his head. Moving on to his lap he held on tightly n cried hysterical soaking his shirt .The two left giving privacy to them.
