I will do like a top Kageyama eventually so please don't think I've forgotten about you.

~bad parents. Kageyama has a lot of siblings. Implied parentification. Implied alcoholic.
*not a ship either. I'm sorry.

The Karasuno team and Aoba Johsai were sitting in a circle in the Seijoh gym.

It was around 6pm or so but unfortunately for Karasuno, the bus had broken down, so now they were here.

All of a sudden the door had opened and they turned to see who it was.

It was a tall man with dark and long yet greasy and unkept hair, with an old looking shirt with several stains, old jeans with several holes with a pair of dirty shoes-someone none of them recognised.

But to their surprise, Kageyama got up and walked over to him. "What the fuck are you doing here?" He asked in a slight annoyed and hushed tone. The man rolls his eyes.

"Where the fuck have you been?" He asks back. "It's not my fault the bus broke. I'm sure you guys can handle things without me for one day," the man takes a swig from the metallic flask from his pocket.

"And the last time I checked your the parent and I'm the child," he takes another swig. "God I hate this family," Tobio sighs out to himself.

The man, presumably his father, perks up at this. "Are you saying e wish we didn't have you?" Yet another swig, "because your mother didn't want you," he looks rather proud of himself at that.

Both teams didn't know how to feel, meanwhile Kageyama's face changed to a look of hurt though it quickly changed to a scowl and straightened himself up and stepped closer to him.

"Oh yeah old man, you wanna play that game with me?" Kageyama says, chuckling, eyes shining. He already has enough on his plate and he doesn't need his father telling him that his mother didn't want him.

"I suggest you don't expect me home for the next week," Tobio said in a cold tone and it was obvious to him, that his father wasn't expecting him to say that.

"No wait a second, do you realise how sad your siblings are gonna be without you?" The man says, and Tobio knew he was trying to manipulate him. It always worked, any time Kageyama wanted a night or so away from his family, that line always worked.

"No," Kageyama sternly says. "I will not let you manipulate me today. You wanted the children,  they're your responsibility, not mine," it feels so freeing to finally say this.

And yes, he loves his siblings severely, that doesn't mean he wanted to be a parent from the age of eight.

Once again, his father was taken aback by this. "But I need you to babysit tonight. I'm supposed to be going-" "babysit?!" Tobio yells, then gives a laugh.

Clearly his father didn't understand what was so funny. "I pay the bills around her. I look after the kids. I bet you don't even know a single thing about them. Shin, gets top marks and is the smartest kid in his class. Nariko is an excellent artist. Ren is fantastic at soccer," slowly, he's walking forward, making his father back out towards the door.

"Hatsu is an amazing film maker and Atari sure is good at blowing shit up and the two little ones are the sweetest kids you will ever meet. Face it Yuji, I did it all," he says with a breaking smile, tears welling up in his eyes. "Face it, you are 100% irrelevant and I'm not even sure if Sakiko and Takashi know you're their actual father ," they're both glaring daggers at each other.

And noticing that Yuji is outside, Tobio quickly slams the door on him, and leans against it, making sure he stays out.

A minute later, he walks away from it and unable to stop himself, he starts laughing, shocking everyone. Daichi and Sugawara share a look but Kageyama can't help it, he laughs until he has to support himslef with his hand on his knees.

But he's unable to do that as he can't stand up anymore and slides down the wall.

Daichi and Sugawara quickly make their way over to him, worried. "Are you okay?" Daichi asks as Tobio's head is buried into his knees.

"Are you laughing or crying?" Sugawara asks, gently. It appears that he's doing a mixture of both.

So they sit down, wanting to make sure that he's alright, not saying anything as he's probably embarrassed, but he suddenly gets up and walks back over to the circle and sits down in the spot he was sitting at before, acting as if nothing had happened. So Daichi and Sugawara walk back too.

"How many fucking siblings do you have dude?" Tanaka questions in a joking tone. "Seven," Kageyama immediately answers. "So that man was your father?" Nishinoya asks.

"Apparently," Is Kageyama's response, pulling out his phone and going silent. So everyone leaves him alone. Not wanting to bother him anymore.
