-Kageyama gets into a fight with Tsukishima-

Tobio has a skip in his step as he makes his way over to the Karasuno gym, feeling better than he has in weeks now.

"Kageyama!" Hinata yells excitedly, smiling at him with a ball in his hand. "You wanna warm up with me?" He asks, and to his surprise, he says 'yes'.

Hinata stops and stares at him, "Are you feeling okay?" He asks in genuine concern. Kageyama scoffs at him, "What? Of course, I am." He snatches the ball from his arms, "Now get into position before I decide to warm up by myself." Kageyama threatens.

It's not just morning practice, Tobio stays in his surprisingly good mood the rest of the week, right up until Saturday afternoon practice.

Earlier during midmorning, he had received some devastating news, and after the call had ended, it was as if all of his positivity had been sucked out of him, leaving nothing but an empty hollow feeling.

He did nothing but lie on his bed the rest of the day, until his alarm had gone off. Tobio had questioned if he even wanted to go but he threw on his practice clothes and ran over anyway.

"Hey Kageyama!" Hinata greets enthusiastically, running over to his friend who's currently stretching himself out on the floor. "What?" His voice same out sharper than he intended, causing the boy to halter, "I was just wondering if you wanted to warm up with me."
"Not in the mood, go ask someone else."

Like a puppy who had been scolded, he walks off with his head lowered just to pop back up when Yamaguchi offers to help him warm up.

His mood didn't get any better throughout the duration of their practice, in fact it had gotten worse.

Despite his best efforts to keep his mouth shut, Tobio had snapped, yelled and insulted most of his teammates within forty-five minutes. He knows it's wrong and he should've just stayed home but he couldn't stop himself.

He couldn't stop himself, no matter how hard he wished he could just shut up and walk away.

"Once a king, always a king." Tsukishima mutters after Kageyama had chastised him after making a less then best spike.

"What did you say?" He asks, eyes narrowed and scowling deeply. "You heard me." Tsukishima says in his usual condescending voice.

Tobio steps closer to him, fists clenched and pupils widening. "You're not going to hit me." Tsukishima says, "You're too weak to actually do anything."

Kageyama doesn't hit him. He walks closer, he can feel himself trembling.

Tobio can't stop himself as his hand wraps around Tsukishima's throat. He stares directly into his eyes, as he struggles to break free from Tobio's unrelenting grasp.

Ukai is the one to break them apart. "I suggest you run this anger off." He says calmly while Tsukishima coughs and sputters. Kiyoko hands him a bottle of water, looking at Tobio with concern.

He slams the gym doors behind him.

"Fucking teenagers." The coach grumbles, hurrying after him. It took a few minutes, but he finds him crying in an alleyway.

Noticing him, he wipes his tears. "Fuck off." He says in a shaky voice. Ukai shakes his head and sits down, leaving a small amount of space between them as to not scare him off.

"You want to tell me what happened?"
"Nothing happened." Kageyama says flatly. He continues to wipe the tears that fall down his face.

"I'm the angry setter from Karasuno, it's who I am." He says in a sarcastic tone. "Don't you give me that shit." Keishin says sternly. "What happened?" He repeats. "You heard him, nothing but a cowardice king." He spits bitterly, frowning.

Ukai pinches the bridge of his nose, "You were genuinely happy earlier this week, what changed?"
"Nothing. How do you know that? I could've been pretending."
"Kageyama, you are a lot of things, but a pretender is not one of them. Kid just let me help you."

"No." He says stubbornly. "And why not?"
"Because it's stupid." Ukai isn't one for hitting children, but right now he wants to throttle him. "Oh my god." He sighs out. "Kageyama it can't possibly be stupid if you're reaction is this big." He reasons.

"I just-I just miss my mom, okay?"
"Oh shit." Ukai mumbles and moves closer to him. "I'm sorry for your loss." He says, not entirely sure on what he's supposed to say or do. "No, she's not dead, she's just stuck in Brazil. I haven't been able to see her in eight months." Tobio explains and relief flows through Ukai's body, relieved that he doesn't need to comfort a grieving teenager, as he knows he's not very good at that kind of stuff.

"Mom went back home to Sao Paulo because of some family stuff then she had some trouble with her passport and now she's sick so it's going to take a couple more weeks before she gets here." Tobio explains, staring at the dirty wall in front of him. "I wanted to come with her but I had school so I couldn't. I also just miss home and my Brazilian family I guess."

"I understand that, but you need to keep your hands to yourself." He reprimands, wanting Kageyama to know that fighting his teammates is not how to handle his anger, not that he actually has to say anything. Kageyama obviously already knows this.

"I tried but he just wouldn't stop with the name calling."
"Yeah, I know, but I doubt he'll be doing that much longer. What about your dad?"
"He's out of town for a few days, work stuff." Keishin gets up and dusts himself off.

He offers a hand to Kageyama, who's shakes his head, "You can't stay in this alleyway. Come on, I'll walk you home."
"Why? I can do that myself." He stays put, unmoving. "So, I know you actually get there." He answers, grabbing Tobio's wrists and helping him up.

"Do you hate me?" He quietly asks after five minutes of silence. Ukai scoffs, "What? Of course not. Why would you think that?" He shrugs. "Do you think the team hate me then?"
"No."
"You sound so sure."
"Just give it a couple days and everything will go back to normal."

They've made it to the front of the house, Tobio pulls him in for a hug. He's surprised but instantly hugs back, "Everything's gonna be okay." He reassures.n

"Do me a favour will ya." Keishin says when Kageyama pulls away, once again wiping the tears that fall down his face, "Stop keeping your emotions to yourself. Next time, tell us how you feel. I don't care who it is. Me, Takeda or literally anyone. I don't care. Just talk, okay?"

He nods, "Yeah, I'll uh-I'll try. Thank you." He responds in a sincere voice before walking inside and closing the door. He puts a movie on, wanting to distract himself from the fight he had with one of his teammates.
