Luz POV

As I run to the Blight Mansion, I think about her, and I stop.

"Luz, what would you do if Amity knew what you were doing? Yeah, she probably hates them, but, they are still here parents." The voice said.

"Shut up....... Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" I yell.

"Kid!" Eda's voice yelled. "She's awake!"

I look behind me, and I see Eda.

"What?" I immediately ask.

"You heard me! Come on!" She pat the space on her staff next to her.

I quickly jumped onto the staff.

As we took off into the air, a question passed my mind.

"Eda, that wasn't a lie just to get me to come back was it?" I ask.

"Luz, tell me why I would lie to you about Amity waking up." She said.

"..."

"Exactly. I wouldn't. I know you care so much about her." She said

The rest of the ride was silent. And I felt relieved as we finally made it back to the Owl House.

"Hi Luz!" Hooty said.

"Shut up." I told him.

As I reach for the door handle, I hear her voice.

"Where's Luz?" She asked.

I quickly walked inside. They all looked over.

"Amity!" I said.

"Luz?" She looked over.

I quickly ran over to her, and hugged her tightly.

"Where were you?" She asked.

"That's top secret." I said, pulling away from the hug to look at her.

My eyes trailed down to her lips, but I quickly looked away.

She grabbed the side of my face and made me look at her.

"Wanna know something else that's top secret?" She smirked.

"Sure?"

She pulled me and kissed me. ON THE LIPS.

I quickly leaned in. Not want this moment to end.

Unfortunately, air was a thing, so we had to pull away to breath.

I hear giggling but I don't pay the noise any mind. And when I realized what I had done, my face went full red.

What a way to get a girlfriend.
