[Vibrating sound]
Sidharth was lying flat on his stomach with his mouth slightly open. A drop of saliva was about to drip when he woke up hearing his own subtle snore. He had been thinking about Shehnaaz the whole night and had fallen asleep only at the dusky hour. He opened his eyes and rubbed them with the back of his palm while searching for the phone with the other hand.
When he finally caught hold of his phone, it stopped vibrating. He sighed and dropped the phone along with his hand on the bed and closed his eyes yet again. He was too lazy to check the phone.
"Sidhaaarth... Sidhaaarth..", he heard his mother calling him. There was a sense of tension in her voice which made him sit with his eyes wide open. He ran towards the door covering the distance between the bed and the door in a record time.
"Kya hua Maa?", He asked hurriedly as soon as he opened the door.
"Sidharth.. woh Kaamini..", her throat were dry unable to speak..
"Kya hua usko?", He asked.
"Usne doobara apni nass kaat liya..", said Lakshmi.
"What? Kaha hai woh?",he asked in shock.
"Godwin Hospital.. Teri usse koi ladaayi huyi thi kya?", Asked her mother.
"Nahi maa.. main kal lunch pe mila tha tab toh sab theek tha.. mujhe hospital jaana hoga..", he said.
"Main bhi chalti hoon..", she said going out yo her room to change her clothes.
Sidharth quickly changed his grey shorts and wore jeans. He washed his face and picked up the bike keys before running out of the house. Lakshmi and him both reached the hospital.
"Jiju.. Kaamini?", Sidharth asked Keval.
"Woh andhar hai.. doctors usse dekh rahe hai.", Said Keval.
"Usne aisa kyu kiya?", Asked Sidharth.
"Tumhaare saath koi ladaayi huyi thi kya?", Asked Keval.
"Nahi Jiju.. humari toh baat bhi kam hoti hai aaj kal.. woh apne kaam mein busy hoti hai aur main apne kaam mein. Ghar pe kuch hua kya kal?", Asked Sidharth.
"Haan Sidharth..", replied Nidhi.
Flashback:
Kaamini's parents; her brother, Keval and his wife, Nidhi were all seated in the drawing room busy discussing something in the evening when Kaamini returns from work.
"Kaamini, aa gayi beta? Aaj bahut der kardi aane mein.", Said her mother.
"Haan Maa. HR audits chal raha tha toh kaam zyada tha.. aap sab kya kar rahe ho?", Asked Kaamini.
"Teri aur Sidharth ki shaadi ka card chhaat rahe the.. tu dekh tujhe kaunsa design pasand hai..", said Keval
"Shaadi?", Kaamini was shocked.
"Aise kya reactions de rahi hai. 2 mahine baad shaadi hai tum dono ki, bhool gayi kya?", Asked her mother.
"Maa, mujhe shaadi nahi karni..", said Kaamini.
"Yeh kya keh rahi hai? Sidharth se ladaayi huyi kya? Agar aisa gai toh main usse samjhati hoon", said Nidhi
"Nahi bhabhi.. aisa kuch nahi hua.. bas mujhe shaadi nahi karni..", said Kaamini.
"Kaamini, tu mazak kar rahi hai na?", Asked her brother.
"Nahi.. I am serious.. shaadi nahi karni mujhe..", yells Kaamini.
