Ch 3

(Dante's Pov)

It's been almost a week since I met Chani and I can feel my wolf becoming depressed since I haven't heard from him. Sitting in my room I'm going through all my clothes and blankets sniffing them but end up throwing them all aside when they don't have the scent I want. Sighing in frustration I lay back staring up at the ceiling my wolf crying out the word mate and a feeling of longing fills me. I sit up when I hear a knock on my rooms door I giving a reluctant "come in." Hearing the door open I look up to see my beta roommate Kira she giving me a sympathetic look. "Still no word?" I shake my head no burying my face in my knees. I feel her start to get closer only to growl in warning she quickly backing up away. "Usually when your this upset you nest." I look up at her pitifully. "I can't nest because all my wolf wants is his scent and I have nothing with his scent on it! He's rejecting me I just know it." She frowns as I try to get up stumbling a little. "Okay when's the last time you ate something?" I jump onto my bed mumbling "the night we met." She immediately raises her voice in disbelief. "Dante that's almost a full week without food!" I immediately burst into tears. "I don't want food I want my alpha!" She gives me a worried glance then suddenly looks determined and storms out of the room leaving me all alone I curling up in a ball feeling horrible both physically and emotionally.

(Kira's Pov)

Seeing how downhill my best friend has gone I immediately feel determined to find this alpha that's hurting him to give him a piece of my mind. Dante is a very sensitive person and I won't let anyone hurt him. Heading to my room I grab my laptop and immediately start researching determination and anger fueling me I typing in all of the things Dante has mentioned or told me about him.
