Friday
I woke up around 8:40 and decided to just not go to school. I rolled over and seen that Egypt was still sleep, so I slid out of bed and decided to make us some breakfast. I walked down to the kitchen and began rummaging through the fridge for something to make. I decided to just make chicken and waffles.
I began by cleaning my chicken, and then marinating it in milk, lemon juice, seasonings, and a little bit of white vinegar. I then begin prepping my dry mixes and wet mixes for the waffle batter. After about 15 minutes, I took the chicken out of the marinade, seasoned it again, battered it, and began frying it. After my chicken was almost done I took my batter and mixed it, then made waffles in my waffle iron.
As I started plating the food, I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. I looked up and seen Egypt walking into the kitchen. "Good Morning." I say to him, as he walks over to me "Good Morning." He says, while placing his forehead on my back. "You hungry?" "Not really, but I could eat."
He sits down at the island, and I bring him his food. "You made this?" He asked with a raised eyebrow "Yep, just for you, cause I don't cook." I reply, tapping him on his nose.
He took a bite and put the fork down. "You good?" I ask with a slight mug, "You ain't gotta say my food nasty." "I didn't even say nothing." He said returning my energy "So is it good?" I ask cocking my head to the side "Maybe." He says taking another bite and smirking "Be for real." "It's good I guess" He says, " I bet you taste better." "Excuse me?" I say turning to him with a slight grin "Nothing." He replies, acting like nothing happened "Where did this Egypt come from?" "I don't know. I guess because I don't have to worry about my parents anymore. Meet Cairo." He says grinning "I like this new "Cairo" person." "I think it's this hoodie tbh. It's giving a very lusty energy." "So it's my hoodie?" I say laughing "Or you, either one." "Well keep that same energy tonight then." I reply "Oh," he reply's through puckered lips.
I kiss him and we finish eating. After breakfast, we decided to get dressed so we could go get Egypts things from his parents house.
