*Day two*

"Bae...." I said grabbing Aiyden's attention.
"Wassup." He said turning his head towards me
"I think we should tell them right now." I said replied in as serious tone. "I was just thinking that if we tell them now, we won't have to worry about anything that would interfere with the pregnancy. And plus I'm tired of holding this secret from my best friends."

I could tell that he understood where I was coming from because he didn't disagree with me. He just asked if I wanted to do a house meeting. I agreed and we began discussing ways that we would break the news to them. We ultimately just decided to tell them flat out.
I texted everyone and told them to meet us in the living room within the next five minutes for a house meeting. To which everyone obliged and met us.

When we got in the living room, everyone was already in there. Each couple was sitting beside each other and some had blankets and snacks. I could tell that everyone was confused because that all had a slight nervous expression. I could tell that Zahur and Jameer had just woken up because those red marks that appear after a good sleep was on Zahur's arm and cheek. While Jameer had straight up bed hair.

We sat down on the floor in front of everyone and waited for their full attention. Once everyone was paying attention I spoke first. I blurted out "I'm pregnant" before I could catch myself. I don't know if everyone thought I was just playing or if they were in complete shock, but no one said anything. We just sat in an uncomfortable silence for what felt like an eternity. That was until Ahmad spoke up. "We're going to be uncles," he said happily to Zahur. Who looked like he was completely over everybody. It wasn't until Jordan spoke that everyone started giving their congrats and talking about it.

Before long we were discussing everything from how far along I was to what we planned on naming it. I was overly ecstatic that everyone took the news so well. But I couldn't help notice the tension between Yasmine and King.
And as if on cue King spoke. "I have something to say also," he said, grabbing everyone's attention. As if he knew what King was going to say Zahur sat up and snapped his head over to him with a warning look. King ignored it and began speaking, "Well it's kinda more a question. But I wanted to know if I could bring someone here. My mom is going on a retreat since her cancer is rapidly progressing, and she can't look after him anymore." He said in a slight sad voice. "Sure." I spoke up quickly. I could tell that the news about his mom is truly hurting him and plus I've always had a soft spot for King. "Who is it?" Jordan spoke up

"His name is Tyriek," he replied dropping his head down, "And he's my son."
He said that last part lowly but everyone heard it. In which sent everyone into an uproar. "You have a kid?" "How old is he?" "How the hell didn't we know this?" "Yasmine yo ass knew?"
They were just hitting him left and right and he was trying his best to answer them all.

I watched as Aiyden's chest began rising and falling faster and faster. "You good bae?" I asked him, knowing that he started becoming angry. Honestly I couldn't blame him for getting upset. King has been his best friend since second grade and he's been lying to him this entire time. He didn't say anything, he just got up and started walking out of the living room. King instantly shot up and began chasing after him. "Bro let me explain," was all he could mutter out before Aiyden slammed the door in his face. King began frantically trying to plead his case from behind the shut door, but Aiyden wasn't having it.
