From; OC x reader

How it started

A couple were driving an RV travelling through a forest, their children consisted of a young boy by the name Ethan who was short and had light brown hair, an older boy Noah who was tall and black hair and his younger sister by a couple years Julie who had very long brown hair. Julie was playing with Ethan with little finger puppets that he owned while Noah was watching bored while also on his phone. When Julie kills the main character of the game they were playing and stares at him. Ethan yells out to their Mum, "Mum, Julie killed Norman!"

"Julie" she scolds without turning around. 

"What? I'm telling a story." She states with an eye roll.

Her older sibling looks up at her from his phone from the other side of the RV, "you're a terrible older sibling."

"Like you can talk." she says before getting up and moving to the same side with her air pods in. The boy lightly shrugs at this remark and looks back down at his phone as their mum gets up and starts comforting the younger boy stating that monsters aren't real. And moves back to her husband getting a fist bump.

Later on the parents are having a conversation in the front while the kids are in the back doing their own things. When they came across a tree on the road. They all hop out of the vehicle confused as it was the only tree down. "Must have gotten knocked down in a storm" the father, Jim, says.

"That's a pretty selective storm." the mother, Tabitha, replies.

"There was an exit about a mile back. We will have to circle around." Jim tells her

Ethan, who was standing next to Jim near the tree, turns to his father, "Dad get me up." Jim agrees and puts his son on the tree to try and walk across. They all turn their attention to the sky then watch as lots of crows fly up above. "What are they doing?"

"I don't know." Jim mumbles back, confused.

"Can we all get inside, please." Tabitha tells her family. They all follow her back into the vehicle except for Noah who then gets his arm whacked by his mother to follow her into the vehicle.

Back in the town Boyd walks up to a woman with pale skin and blonde hair who was gardening and she turns to him, "We have an arrangement, sheriff. You don't come here."

"I came to see my son, Donna." she stares at him blankly, "please." he adds with a sigh.

She sighs in return, "Come on in then." She starts walking to the massive house with him following her.

A man inside the house can be seen sketching a girl as she poses for him. Suddenly he stops making her look at him. "What?" she asks, confused.

"You're like a poem, you know that. You make everything around you beautiful." She smiles at this and lightly chuckles. "Even this place." They then turn around at the sound of footsteps in the doorway, their expressions change.

Fatima looks at Boyd in somewhat shock, "Sheriff Stevens." She walks over to him with a smile.

"Hello Fatima." he says back as he hugs her.

"You should come by more often," She says. He chuckles and mumbles a 'yeah' as he turns to his son.

"Ellis have you seen my..." they all turn to look past Boyd into the doorway seeing a short teen girl with brown hair. She immediately looks down at the floor.

"Hey Y/N." Boyd says softly, only receiving a slight nod from her still looking at the ground as she starts playing with her fingers. He then turns his attention back to Ellis.

"Here Y/N, I'll help you look." Fatima says to give the boys their space. She starts walking out the room when Y/N looks at Ellis and he softly nods at her in confirmation. Y/N then starts following Fatima out the room. Ellis continues to ignore his father.

"I mean, she doesn't change does she?" Boyd says

"What are you doing here?" Ellis cuts to the point.

Boyd starts slowly walking to his son, "We lost a couple people last night."

"Oh did we? And how exactly did we lose them?" Ellis asks harshly

"Lauren Prat. and her little girl Meagan." Ellis looks slightly stunned. "Lauren was the one-"

"Yeah I know who Lauren is." Ellis cut him off, not looking at him.

"It might be nice if you came to the service. Paid your respects."

"Look. I'm a little busy, so if that's all..." as he continues to draw.

"That's all. I thought I... I'll show myself out." Boys states leaving as Ellis continues to draw and to ignore his Dad.

Back in the vehicle the family were experiencing the signal cutting out. While Jim makes a joke about the crows to the youngest boy while everyone seems unimpressed. They then start to come across the town. They pass a girl sitting on the steps outside her house. Jim looks around at the town confused, "What the..."

"Why are all the tires flat?" Ethan asks, sticking his head out the window.

"This place is whack." Noah states taking multiple pictures of all the fallen apart cars.

A little down the road they were giving a service for the fallen parent and child when they saw the car pulling up. This causes everyone to become confused. As the priest starts stuttering over his words at seeing the RV. all the people attending the service turn to see the RV as well as they continue with the service. Once finished they all turn to Boyd for what to do about the new arrivals. "Alright, you all remember what it was like for you. Just leave these people be. Kenny and I will handle it." he says and turns to his deputy, Kenny. Jim hops out of the vehicle as all the people disperse telling his family to lock the doors. Jim starts asking lots of the people questions but they all ignore him. He looks around confused until the sheriff walks up to him with the deputy by his side, "Can I help you?" he asks

"Oh yeah, sorry to interrupt your service." Jim replies.

"Not a problem, we were just wrapping up."

"Well, we were on a detour from the highway and cell service out here is..."

Boyd looks at the RV as Jim continues to ramble seeing the rest of the family in the car, "you got your family with you?"

Jim looks taken aback by this and looks back at the vehicle, "Yeah, I was just wondering if I could get directions to the highway."

Boyd looks at him then smiles, "Not a problem." He then gives him directions and Jim goes back to his car.

"What did he say?" Tabitha asks as Jim starts driving.

"He said stay on the road." he said, not knowing that they couldn't escape this town. They did follow the road. But the road kept going in circles. In the town Boyd and Kenny start putting the spikes on the road to make the RV stop. What they didn't know was that another car had crashed into the RV. The guy who was driving the other car started stumbling out of the car looking for help. He comes across Boyd and Kenny and explains what happened. Boyd sends Kenny into town with the man to get him some medical attention and to get people to help while Boyd makes his way over to the RV to make sure the family is okay.
