narrator

anabelle entered the room with delilah's body on the bed, her body looking pale and weak. her lips were already losing their colour. her eyes got teary at the sight of her girlfriend on her death bed.

all it took for her to break down was the amount of blood that was in the trash can. the blooded wipes, tissues, wrappings and syringes.

anabelle fell on delilah's body, hugging her body tightly as she sobbed in the hospital gown. her heart was slowing shattering as the fact that delilah, her love, her girlfriend, her babygirl, was actually dead. it has only been four months since they have been together and it seems like forever, like they actually had a future together, in each other's arms.

"lilah," anabelle cried, "no."

from outside, her loud sobs could be heard and her pleas that delilah would come back and that wasn't actually real. the nurse that informed them of delilah's death was swallowing herself in pity as she know that they were a couple.

the nurse gave anabelle's mother the permission to go in and comfort her daughter. she did so, walking up behind her and placing a hand on anabelle's hunched over figure.

"it'll be okay, baby." mrs. lindsay said softly and anabelle shook her head.

"mom, we had a future planned. w-we h-had everything p-planned. only for s-something t-to come and kill her." anabelle cried and looked up at her mother with wet eyelashes, teary eyes and puffy cheeks.

"oh, anabelle," mrs. lindsay's accent came out thick and evident.

that made anabelle sobbed more. she could've thought delilah her mother's tongue, they could've went through the process together. anabelle would've let delilah go to spanish countries and learn more about her culture and her language, her background. there's so much she still doesn't know.

mrs. lindsay's heart breaks to see her daughter like this. everything was so bad, it's going to get worse, especially since she know that anabelle doesn't deal with grief well and since it's someone who means a lot to her. she may even take months to heal and get over it, hopefully not years.

anabelle was home after the nurse told them that they had to ice the deceased and report the dead body. anabelle sobbed hysterically on the way home and out of the hospital. she was in no shape to go anywhere nor to drive so her father had to drive them home once more.

currently, anabelle was in her room at her house, hugging one of delilah's sweatshirts that she loves wearing. her scent coated her lover's nose, bringing her some sort of comfort but it also made her way more sadder.

reality keeps pushing it in her face that she's dead over and over again. they've been almost every place in america and everywhere reminds anabelle of delilah. from the kitchen, to the hall, to the pool, to the bedroom, to the floor, to the bathroom, the sheets and even the balcony itself. no, it didn't have anything to with sex but the moments that they spent together every where.

anabelle doesn't know how long she'll take to get over delilah's passing and honestly, it feels like forever. it's like felt delilah took a part of her when she died and it's eating her out on the inside.

was this the end? she did fall for her highschool love and experienced it but with a bad end. anabelle loved her imperfections and treated her right so where did she go wrong when faith decided that... yeah, it's time for anabelle to stop being happy and give the fuck up on life.
