"So, he's not telling you where he's taking you?" Stas asked as I put my outfit on. I shake my head no.

I look in the mirror to make sure it looks okay. It's acid washed skinny jeans with a light pink crop top.

It had the word angel on it with a roller skate. It looked like it was vintage, which is why I liked it.

"All he told me was to dress casual." I grin. Stas said she wanted to do my hair so I sat down at my vanity.

She stood up and walked towards me happily. She started playing with my blonde hair for a moment, goosebumps going up my arm.

I looked at her through the mirror. Since Heather is working and Kat's busy with Sam, Stas is the only one who could help.

"Are you nervous?" She asked starting to gossip. I scrunch my nose towards her.

"Colby and I have been friends for years. I feel comfortable around him." I smiled a little while thinking.

She grabbed the curler and started doing my hair. "That's good then. I swear things ended perfectly for you two."

I looked at her confused. "What do you mean?" I asked curiously. She thought about her words for a moment.

"I don't know, it's just a perfect story for your kids with him." She giggles a little bit.

"You two meet through Kian, instantly clicked and become best friends, and slowly gained feelings without realizing." She smiled.

When she says it like that, it does sound perfect. "You do know Colby and I haven't even been on a date yet." I laugh a little bit.

"Yeah, but you two were meant to meet for sure." She smiled. When she finished my hair, she worked on my makeup.

She put some lip gloss on me and leaned back to study my face. "What?" I ask starting to worry.

He should be picking me up soon."He's just gonna tear your clothes off tonight." I drop my jaw as I look over at her.

"Oh, shut up." We both laughed a little bit. As we did, I heard the door close. "Kylie?" I heard his voice ask.

I look at Stas with excited eyes and got up. I walked out of my room to see him in the living room, walking around.

He had on black skinny jeans, a black and white striped shirt, and a black jean jacket.

I couldn't help but smile when I saw him. When he saw me, his eyes scanned my body and back up to my eyes.

"You ready?" He asked as I nodded. "You kids have fun." Stas hoped for us.

We waved her goodbye and we started to walk out. I followed him to his car and he opened the car.

I made sure to thank him for everything. He turned our playlist on and started driving.

"So, where are we going?" I tried to push. He just smiled while shaking his head.

"Good try, Kylie." He reached his hand down and interlaced our fingers.

The gesture made the butterflies fly into my stomach. We listened to music and talked the whole way.

I was in awe when Colby pulled up to the aquarium. I look at him with a smile on my face.

"We're going to the aquarium?" I ask surprised. He nodded his head while smiling.

"I hope that's okay?" I can't remember the last time I've been here. We walk in together, him paying.

I told him he didn't have to but he wanted to. We walk in and I was completly in awe.

"You look like a kid at Disney." He teased a little bit. I just rolled my eyes while I go up to one of the tanks.

I was in awe while I looked at the fish swimming. There weren't many people here since it was a sunny day at the end of May.

Most people are still in school or work. "You look beautiful right now." Colby complimented me.

I turn to him with a smile on my face. We were under one of those tunnel hallways where the glass tank is all around us.

"I don't look beautiful all the time?" I tease him a little bit. I could see him roll his eyes a little bit.

"You always look beautiful, Kylie. You just look especially beautiful right now." He complimented me.

I went over to him, leaving no space between our bodies. He was staring down at my face while I did the same to him.

"I could say the same about you." I smile a little bit. I swallowed deeply while I looked in between his lips and eyes.

I could feel the tension between us, and I know he wants to kiss me. That's why I get on my tippy toes and put my lips onto his lightly.

When our lips touched, I could feel the electricity go down my spine. He kisses me back, causing me to smile a little bit.

We kissed for a moment, and it was wonderful. Eventually, we pull away for air. We both had the cheesiest grins on our faces.

"You don't know how long I've been wanting to do that." He rasped. It feels nice to actually be able to kiss Colby.

So much has happened during the past couple of months. "It was nice." We stared at each other for a moment and then continued walking.

The whole aquarium date was honestly really fun. It's like after we kissed, we were on cloud nine.

Every time we would look at each other, we would start smiling towards each other.

When we left the aquarium, we went to get milkshakes at this cute little place near the aquarium.

We get a large vanilla so we could share it together. "Today honestly has been perfect." I smile towards him.

We were sitting at a booth, waiting for it to come. He smiled towards me a little bit.

"I agree, but honestly everyday with you is perfect." He flirted. I couldn't help but smile when he said that.

We talked about a bunch of different things while we drank our shared milkshake.

We talked about when we realized our feelings and different memories.

When he drove me to the apartment, I made sure to thank him and tell him how amazing the night was.

He leaned over in the car and kissed me gently on the lips. How do I already love kissing Colby?

I honestly didn't want to leave him, but I know I have to get inside. We share our goodbyes and I head up to the apartment.

When I walk in, Stas, Kat, and Heather were all sitting on the couch. They all turned to me with smiles on their faces.

"So, how did it go?" Kat asked when I sat down on the couch. I started explaining what happened and where we went.

When I finished, they all squealed. "I'm so happy for you guys. It seriously took you two long enough." I blushed while they talked about it.

I'm so happy that the girls were here so we could talk about everything that happened.

We all hung out for a little bit, talking and gossiping within each other.

Eventually, Stas and Kat left, leaving Heather and myself here.

She stood up so she could head to bed. She turned towards me, looking at me softly.

"I'm really happy for you." I smile a little towards her. I was in the same boat as her.

We both found really great guys.
