"Y/n...y/n...wake up...wake up..." I hear someone say

I open my eyes to see Ben in front of me but the voice didn't sound like his I sit up and Ben hugs me before we walk out of the now broken van to hear Yasmina and Sammy fighting about what happened.

"—not okay!" Yas saids

"Yas—" Sammy tried to say

"We're in the middle of a jungle with a monster dinosaur out there, and you...you" Yasmina said cutting Sammy off

"Destroyed our only way to get help and lied about it! We told you guys!" Brooklynn shouted grabbing me away from Ben when she said 'we'

"So, you did take Brooklynn's phone? Why? What were you doing?" Darius asked

"Probably trying to erase my voice of her taking those samples from the Sinoceratops" Brooklynn said before she gasped "And you knew about the Indomius Rex because you were snooping around Dr. Wu's office when I ran into you, I knew it!"

"I didn't mean to destroy the phone" Sammy said "I fell on it when the zipline came down and—"

"But you did steal it?" Ben asks "you had it that whole time and didn't tell us?"

"Hold up. What were you doing in Dr. Wu's office, Brooklynn?" Darius asks

"I...it doesn't matter. I didn't break our only way to call for help and then lie about it!" Brooklynn yells as I try to cover my ears tired of all the yelling.

Ben moves over to me placing his hands on mine as we just look at each other. Soon enough ben removes his hands and I remove my hands from on my ears.

"—Mantah corp" Sammy saids

"Mantah crop?" Darius saids

"As in the bioengineering company, that's rivals with Mr. Masrani?" I ask

"They tried to make dinosaurs, too, but Wu beat them to it" Darius saids

"You doomed us all for some lousy company?" Ben asks

"Our ranch was in trouble, so my folks had to borrow a lot of money from some shady people. We didn't know they were fronting for Mantah corp. They said we'd lose everything unless I spied for them. Use the behind-the-scenes access I'd get at camp to gather info from Wu's lab, and DNA from dinos and whatever else they needed. But then Brooklynn caught on, and I got scared, and then everything went wrong" Sammy said I felt bad for her I could tell she wasn't lying this time. "This is the last thing I wanted to happen" Sammy saids to Yas who scoffs

"Oh. To be next to a broken van on killer dinosaur island? Hey, me, too! What are the odds?" Yasmina saids

"Yas, I—" Sammy saids

"Was it all a lie, wanting to be friends? Pretending you cared about..." Yasmina asks Sammy who just looks down "you just needed someone to hide what you were doing. Tell me I'm wrong" Yas saids Sammy doesn't answer and just sobs a bit "I'm such an idiot" Yas saids walking off

"You are wrong! I just didn't know how to say it, how to explain to you" Sammy saids running after Yas "just because I spied doesn't change who I am" Sammy saids putting a hand on Yasmina's shoulder

"Don't touch me! Go away, Sammy" Yas saids for a second I saw her as someone else but it must have been my imagination

I walk off to clear my head a bit. I stop at a tree far but not far to were I don't know how to get back. I climb up the tree and sit on one of the biggest branches. I close my eyes and breathe, but when I do I see I imagine and a younger me sitting on the same branch breathing heavily and sobbing but the branch shakes and younger me screams before looking down to see a T. Rex. I open my eyes after hearing screaming.
