Your POV:

i had just picked chapa up from mikas house and when i tell you it was raining, i mean it.

rain kept loudly smashing against the windows of my car.

i quickly pulled over when it somehow became harder.

"i have to pull over. i can't drive in this or we'll crash." i told her, not noticing the state of panic she was in.

I turned on the car lights and pulled out my phone.

"no connection. we have to wait it out." i said, putting my phone down.

i soon realized, that every sudden thunder or lightning strike, chapa jumped and starting shaking.

"you okay?" i asked after watching her jump for the third time.

"i-im fine." she said, clearly tearing up.

she suddenly unbuckled and climbed to the backseat.

suddenly she let out a nerve wracking shriek after there was a loud and sudden boom of thunder.

i instantly unbuckled and climbed to the back after i heard her sobbing.

"it's okay. it's okay." i repeatedly whispered to her while hugging her.

we eventually fell asleep.
