Chapter Six

"Sorry but this is my girlfriend." he says in his deep voice

When is it my turn? Hm.. I feel like I'm forgetting something..

"haaz...she could of just said so.." the guy says turning around and leaving.

Immediately after Yujin starts checking on Sian, 

"Are you okay!? they didn't do anything to you did they?! you're not panicking are you!?" 

Sian pushes him away, "I'm alright I'm alright!!" 

I start to laugh, all of them turn to me, "sorry it's just the connection you guys have is funny!"

"connection? what connection!?" Sian says with a 'hmph' after

"yeah who said we had a connection!? it's just business!" Yujin said crossing his arms

I turn to look at Yul, he looks like he's going to explode with jealousy.

The movie's about to begin, we're all sat down on a bench, Yul being next to Sian of course and I at the very edge. 

All of a sudden, Yul started giving Sian kisses...it's really awkward...then I remember that Yul kisses her and excuses it as being affectionate. 

I turn to see them again and just as they were about to touch lips I quickly hit the iron bench with my bag causing the bench to shake, all three stop what they're doing and look over at me.

"oh um..sorry my bag got stuck so I yancked it out haha.." 

...

"anyway, I'm going to go get some snacks..." Sian says standing up

"I'm coming too!" Yul says also standing up

"N-no! it's okay!"

"but what if something happens to you?"

"I don't think anything will happen to me because..." she looks over at me, "y/n will be with me...right y/n?"

"oh uh yeah!" I stand up

"Let's go get popcorn Yuri we'll meet them in the theater..." said Yujin

We all nod and go our ways, as I walk with Sian to who knows where and I ask her something

"We're actually leaving aren't we?"

"huh? where did you get that from?"

"I don't know, I mean it's kind of obvious..."

"what is?"

"oh you know...the work thing..."

"You're working?" someone says behind us, we turn around to see her mom.

oh god she looks worse than I expected...her hair's a mess!

"mom!?" 

"You didn't pick up your phone...do you know how worried I was..!?"

"Wh-what!? you called me!?" Sian quickly takes her phone out and her eyes widen

so that's what I forgot!..Oh no.

"you must've been having fun with that giant pig.."

"No mom! it isn't what it looks like I-"

"I knew I should of put you into an all girls collage! we're going home Sian!" her mom grabs Sian's wrist aggressively and begins to drag her away, I grab Sian's other wrist and pull her towards me.

"Ma'am, I know it may be none of my business but I believe that Sian is capable of taking care of herself- she knows what she's doing so with all due respect, let her go."

"I'm not listening to you- come on Sian let's go! and quit your job while you're at it!"

"NO! I don't want to!" she yells, yanking her hand out of her mom's grip

"It's the first thing I earned by myself! I also made really good friends here and I don't want to let that go!"

You tell her Sian!

"please mom...don't force me to go with you.."

"Sian-"

"SUNBAEE!" Yul interrupts Sian's mother, we all turn to look at him

"You crazy witch! get away from her!" he yanks Sian back

"Why am I the crazy one!? all I've ever tried to do was protect her! I've always thought that there was something wrong with my daughter! that's why....I'm locking her up." she reaches out to Sian but Sian slaps her hand away.

"You think...there's something wrong with me..?"

Sian's mom looks full of regret, "Sian you know what I me-"

"No mom, I get it, I never want to see you again." Sian interrupt's with tears in her eyes, then she grabs my hand and runs the opposite direction, Yul following behind.

"I'm sorry sunbae...I shouldn't have done that.." Yul starts finally breaking the silence

"It's not your fault Yuri...It was bound to happen sooner or later..." Sian says looking down

"Em...It may not be my place to do this but- I don't think there's anything wrong with you Sian...you're perfect just the way you are" I say holding her hand, she smiles weakly

"Thanks y/n...and Yuri, she wasn't talking about you...she was talking about ... my EX-Boyfriend..."

"you...had a boyfriend?" Yul says before I can even react

this is high level acting

"really?" I say acting surprised

"...yeah..when I was in middle school...I fell for a boy, I was still afraid of men but he was just so beautiful...I thought he was special.."

I frown

I read about all this already...these parts make me cry

Sian continues, "..I brought him to my house because I felt like if my mom saw him maybe she would stop being overprotective but what happened was actually really unexpected..."

I look at Yul, he clutches his arm tight, fear and guilt take over his eyes

"My mom lost a lot of blood that day...so I had to break up with him...my phobia only grew worse after that I get chills just thinking about that da-"

I hug her, she's trembling the poor girl.. 

"Hey! hey...it's okay- you're okay.." I say trying to be gentle

She sighs a few times before we both break the hug, "thank you y/n" I nod

...

"do you...still love him?" Yul says, his eyes hopeful and desperate 

"No. I can't love someone who's done such horrible things.." 

Yul suddenly pulls Sian in for a hug, Sian get's startled

This part! how should I stop it!?

I look around to see any distraction, and there he is- Yujin.

"Yujin! Over here!" I yell, Yul stops hugging Sian and Yujin looks over at us

He walks to us, "Hey...are we still watching the movie?.."
