(POV:Reader)

-"Ahem, we give out thanks..." as the other father spoke I stared at the large arrangement of food, a whole chicken, corn on the cob, peas, bread rolls, mashed potatoes.

-"...and ask to bless our mother's golden chicken breast" while the other parents chuckled, Neil and I stared at the food, our stomachs rumbling from skipping dinner.

-"Mmm, this chicken is good," Neil exclaimed as he bit into the chicken drumstick.

-"Hungry, aren't you?" the other mother giggled, as we all took our servings.

-"Do you have any gravy?"

-"Well here comes the gravy train, choo-choo!"

-"Another roll, sweet peas, corn on the cob?"

-"I'm real thirsty" Neil seemed happy with the other parents, I took small peaks around and tried to find anything off about them as a feeling that something was wrong about this place bothered me.

-"Of, course! Any requests?"

-"Mango milkshakes?" a chandelier that held drinks came down, Neil poured himself some, and took my cup, filling it as well.

-"Aren't you gonna eat anything?" I asked the other mother, who's plate had been empty the whole time.

-"I took bites while cooking, ready for dessert?" I gave a hesitant nod, she noticed and kept her eyes on me as she cleaned up.

-"Welcome home?" Neil read off of the pink frosted cake.

-"We've been waiting for you, two"

-"For us?"

-"Yep, the house wouldn't be the same without you two kiddos"

-"I didn't know I had another mother?"

-"Of course you do, everyone does"

-"Y/n's mother can visit us tomorrow if you'd like?" she looked over to me.

-"Oh, um...sure!"

-"As soon as you two are done eating, I thought we could play a game" Neil and I stared at her hand, who's fingers tapped on the table.

-"Like hide and seek?"

-"Hide and seek in the rain!"

-"What rain?" I asked, and suddenly a loud crackle of thunder roared.

-"What about the mud?" Neil continued.

-"We love mud, mud baths, mud facials, mud pies-"

-"It's great for poison oak" she took Neil's hand in her's, but Neil quickly pulled it away.

-"How'd you-...we'd love to play, but we're both so tired and sleepy, right Y/n?"

-"Yeah, it's been a long day" I gave a fake yawn.

-"We should be heading back home-"

-"But this is your home"

-"Our other home, home number one"

-"Everything is already set up for you dears, we even set up a room for Y/n" the other mother ignored everything we had said.

-"No, we can-"

-"Up you go" she and the other father pushed us up the stairs.
