Breakfast

(POV:Reader)

I moved to my side, trying to cover my face from the small sunlight that seeped through the windows. I was falling back to sleep until Neil tightened his hold around me.

-"Neil!"

-"Mmm?"

-"You're squishing me" I pushed him away a bit, but he pulled me closer.

-"No, five more minutes"

-"Come on, let's get up so we can make breakfast, or your dad will cook" knowing Neil despised Charlie's food, he sat up, rubbing the sleepiness out of his eyes.

-"Fine, fine, let's go" I got out of bed and grabbed a clean set of clothes, going to the bathroom to change real quick.

-"I'll see you downstairs, sleepyhead" I teased, seeing as Neil had stayed in bed, the covers now over his head.

-"Mm-hmm" he replied and I closed the door.

-After making French toast and Neil coming down-

-"Hey Y/n, the little door is bricked up again" I turned to Neil, setting a plate of food in front of him as he sat.

-"Yeah, I checked earlier, weird huh?"

-"What's weird?" Charlie had come downstairs, as well as Mel who began to make coffee.

-"We just had weird dreams" I replied, seeing as they'd probably ignore half the things we'd say.

-"Why don't you two go downstairs and visit those actresses, I bet they'd love to listen to your dreams" Mel asked, almost as if she was trying to hurry us out of the house.

-"Thanks for breakfast, Y/n" Charlie said and they both took a plate and a cup of coffee, rushing back to their computers to keep working.

-"Weird dreams?" Neil gave me a look.

-"What'd you want me to say, we saw a different version of your parents that had buttons for eyes, we ate chicken and mango milkshakes and went to sleep in one room, waking up in the other?" he raised his arms in defeat and gave a quiet chuckle.

-"Let's eat breakfast and go downstairs, the actresses might be good company" I offered, finishing up my food.

-"Miss Spink and Forcible, mother said they're dingbats!" I giggled at the way he described them.

-"Your mother calls everyone dingbats" he huffed in reply to my comment, finishing up his breakfast.
