22. The Meeting

11:50pm , Blake's Car

The Clippers won the game & now they are in the second round of the playoffs! After the game , all of us went to dinner except for Brynn , she had to leave , Tom called her for something . There's something weird about that guy... Anyways , the dinner went great! Gail , Marieka & I were talking the whole time , I told her about myself & my job . She was surprised of my success , I was too 'young' to be a doctor according to her . Marieka also commented on my career & told Blake that I'm a 'keeper' just like Jada said before . Tommy asked me about my childhood & about my parents , I didn't have any problems with talking about my family. I wanted Blake's parents to get comfortable with me , which at the end of our dinner Taylor said , he's proud Blake met me. Now Blake , Ford & I were on our way to Blake's house..

"I told you my parents would like you baby!" Blake says putting his hand on my knee

"I know babe , I'm happy they accepted me"

"They love you , especially my mom"

"I love your mom , she's so sweet & your father too, you have a nice family" I say looking at him

"Thank you baby , you do too" he stops at the red light & gives me a kiss

"Ford's such an angel" I say looking back at the child who was in his car seat sound asleep

"I know , I love him" Blake says looking at his son from the rear view mirror

"I love him too" I say looking at Blake

"Blake , Blake baby?" I say tapping Blake's shoulder

"Yeah?"

"I just got called in for work , I have to go for a meeting at 8 , should I call Kassandra to pick me up or ?"

"No , no I'll take you"

"What about Ford?"

"Your condo isn't that far , its okay my love" he says getting up

"Thank you baby, sorry for waking you up" I say giving him a hug

"Its okay princess" he says giving my forehead a kiss

"I love you sweety"

"I love you too Bianca, let's go" He says kissing me & grabbing his car keys

7:40am , CHLA

"Hey Bianca , how did it go yesterday?" Kassandra asks handing me a coffee

"Great! His family is very nice"

"Thats good , do you know what's the meeting about?"

"I have no idea"

"Dr.Lawson , Ms. Johnson , How lovely to see you ladies this morning " says the hospitals top surgeon Phillip

"Nice to see you Phillip" I say giving him a handshake

"Did you hear that there's a new doctor coming to work here?"

"What?" Kassandra asks

"Yeah , He's a top doctor from England!"

"ENGLAND!" Kassandra yells

"Why would he come here?" I ask with a confused look

"I dont know let's go find out"

We walk into the meeting room , every Doctor , Therapist , & Surgeon was in the meeting . Every time a new person comes to work we have a meeting .

"Welcome guys , I know some of you guys had days off but we have a new member who will join us for now on" Our board leader says

"Tom , you may come in"

IT WAS TOM .. TOM FUCKING HIDDLESTON.

"Hello , I'm Tom , I'm excited to work with you all"

"Bianca , Dr. Hiddleston is gonna work with you ." my leader says

Are you kidding?

"Oh , okay"

"You are all dismissed"

"Hey , Bianca wait.."

"Yes?"

"Look I wanted to go out for dinner later, is that okay? I wanna get to know my new partner" Tom says smiling at me

"Umm , sure.. You should ask Brynn first"

"No thank you"

"Brynn's my friend , I want to make sure she'll be okay with it"

'It doesn't matter what she says Bianca" he says raising his voice

"She's your girlfriend , look forget it!" I say walking away

"Bianca , wait I'm sorry" he says grabbing my shoulder

"Tom ask her first , & I'll ask my boyfriend"

"Boyfriend ,you have a boyfriend?" he says with a mad look

"Yes I do & that is none of your concern , I gotta go" I say walking out of the meeting room
