Chapter 8: Dinner

Next day, around dinner time, Avelina's place

Ave was all over the place making sure everything is perfect for the expectedly epic first meeting between Vlad and Alessia. Vlad teleported to his place few hours ago "If this is important to you, I must prepare properly" He said.

She was adding the final touches to the food in the kitchen when he appeared next to her out of nowhere, she knows he enjoys this

"Where have you been all this!"

"I see this doesn't scare you as before" He said, smiling and went on "What do you think?"

Avelina scanned him with her eyes. A black jeans, black t shirt and a thigh-length black jacket with leather sleeves. He looked stunning to her she could only whistle in admiration. Smiling proudly, he grabbed her by the waist

"Glad to impress my lady" He said looking into her charmed eyes. Before she could utter a word the doorbell rang which snapped her out. She went to open while Vlad accompanied her

"Opening the door together?? You look too married already!"

"Shut up Alessia" Ave replied as she hugged her and let her in

Vlad shook her hand and made a courteous bow

"Vlad Tepeş. Nice to meet you"

"I hope not the vampire!" Alessia joked. Vlad gave a wolf grin

"You never know.." He said

Ave, about to panic, held to him arm in arm

"This is my prince" She said then looked in Vlad's eyes which are much softer looking back at hers now.

"Oh please get a room" said Alessia as she went inside. Ave and Vlad followed.

Just before the two could sit down they heard Vlad's voice

"Enter freely of your own will and leave some of the happiness you bring"

Ave turned immediately to him in absolute shock before she burst out laughing

"Oh God I just can't.." She said laughing

He was smiling. He's so in love with her laugh even if it was a nervous one like this.
Alessia, luckily, couldn't recognise the phrase

"What was that? That phrase sounds familiar"

"Come help me make the table!" Ave called from the kitchen

Vlad was going too when Alessia stopped him

"You stay here. We need to gossip"

"To what?" Vlad replied almost letting out a small giggle

Alessia joined Ave in the kitchen

"OK he's hot!"

"I know.."

"But what's with the bow?? That almost freaked me out"

"He's charming isn't he?"

"It's like he came out of one of your books"

"Yes and he's waiting outside?? Will we spend the night here?"

"Fine fine"

They went out to find Vlad petting Storm who was sitting at his feet

"First of all how did Storm get used to you so fast?" Alessia said to Vlad

Ave smiled, remembering Vlad's first encounter with Storm and how she wondered the same
