Everyone gathers around Wilbur. He has a clipboard in one hand and a hat in the other. He placed everyone's name on a piece of paper and into a hat.
There are three rooms so two people to a room.
He pulls out the first name and it's Tommy. Then Tommy pulls a name to see who he rooms with, it is Wilbur. They get the first room then Wilbur pulls out the next name for the second room. It's Aimsey that gets picked, they decide for a little suspension the next name gets to be for the third room.
"y/n", They pulled my name out. Now I have to pick last name for the second room.
Ok, I either room with Ranboo or Charlie. I don't mind who it is, but I see the face or Aimsey looking at Ranboo. I don't want to break them up, hopefully I won't pick the wrong name.
I stick my hand into the hat and try to trust my intuition to pick the paper on the left. I grab it take it out slowly open it up and see that it says...
Ranboo.
My intuition was right. Like people say, always trust your gut.
Aimsey flys into Ranboo for a big hug and Charlie says to me, "I guess we're rooming together, huh"
"yeah, you know I've heard that the last one to get to the room is a rotten egg", I said quickly before getting the keys from Wilbur and jetting to the room.
Just like that we were racing to the room and it looks like I'm going to win, but we get the elevators. We both get in and have to sit with the suspension of when this door opens who is going to get their first.
Now I didn't really care, but when it comes to competition I thought it was a good way to get closer to others.
The doors open and we both book it we see two ways to go and I see the right numbers and fake going the other way for a second then quietly switch directions.
Before I know it he realizes and I speed up knowing I'm not far away. I get to the door and look down the hallway seeing the defeat in his eyes.
"Aww, too bad maybe next time you'll get it", I said.
I use the key to open the door and see the room. I pick the bed closest to the window. I don't know I like being close to windows it make me feel safe and calm.
I place my suitcase by my bed. I throw myself onto it and sigh. The stress from traveling was kicking in and I wanted to lay there for a while. I felt like I was sinking into clouds it was so comfortable.
We had a couple of hours to relax and get settled into the hotel, then we got a text from Ranboo saying if we just want to grab some room service and eat together.
I was down because the thought of going out right now was making my eyelids heavier. He also said pjs were a mandatory dress code. So I quickly hoped into the shower and got dressed into some comfy pjs.

I see that Charlie has the same idea so I brush my wet hair waiting for him to finish up before looking at the menu.
I see that they have flatbread pizza, my favorite. It sounds really good after a day of traveling.
Charlie comes out of the bathroom ready and we head over to Ranboo and Aimsey's room. It's not a far walk what do ever because we all have connecting rooms so that's cool.
We order dinner and talk with each other for a while and say our goodbyes and go to our rooms to sleep.
