I know I already said 'no' to ever dating or at least going out with Jonah, but that date made me changed my mind.
"Hey, Dad. Can I ask you something?"
"Sure, depends on question. What's up?"
"Don't worry, nothing too crazy or anything like that. But it's kinda a personal question."
"Okay, I'm all ears, What's up?"
"Um..how did you know you were ready to get out there?"
"Get out where?"
"You know, get out socially with people after a relationship?"
"Well..you won't know even if you do start meeting him, but it shouldn't stop you from being social in general. Life's too short to not do that, okay? And I think whoever out there trying to pursue you should be honored to have you."
"Thanks, Dad."
"Sure, have fun. But not too much fun though!
"I know, thanks, I appreciate the warning. Dad, I think you should keep putting yourself out there. I mean you said it yourself, 'whoever out there trying to pursue you should be honored to have you', and I certainly don't think it's over between you and Demetria."
"Thanks, honey. Now go get ready, I'm picking up and dropping you guys off at your 'second date'.
"Thanks."

"Hey, you look great."
"Thanks, so do you."
"So ready to go on some rides? I was thinking the rollercoaster?"
