"Morning Trinette"

I smiled to the girl in our kitchen as she made us breakfast. It was simple toast this morning but after a short discussion yesterday evening she still wasn't understanding why we didnt want her making her breakfast

We just want to take care of her and she just wanted to be a good houseguest

She had work today, so i was tasked with driving her there

She was in some scrubs

"I didn't know you worked in the hospital"

I questioned

"Oh! No, i work in the vet clinic in the city. Im the receptionist"

She smiled as she dished up the toast

"Thats nice"

Oliver smiled politely as he came and sat down

The only one of us that likes animals is liam. The rest of us can barely tolerate them.

"Yes! I love it so much!"

She smiled, enthusiastic about her job. i love seeing her enthusiastic

Eating my french toast I smiled. She's a good chef

but she shouldn't be cooking for us, that's my job.

"You ready?"

I asked once she had finished plating everyone's toast up and leaving the toast on the side. 

"Yep! Let me grab my bag"

She said and I smiled before frowning as I saw her bag. it was tiny and could only fit a phone and some water

"Where's your lunch"

I asked her

"Oh! I don't bring lunch"

She smiled happily as she headed out the door before Milo gently grabbed her arm

"Not so fast Trinket, ill make you a lunch"

Milo told her and she stomped her foot a little in stress

"Ill be late"

She stressed as she tried to leave

"You will wait here."

Ryan said as milo let go and made her a sandwich quickly. he came back with it wrapped up and she frowned as she looked at the bread and food mixture before stuffing it into her bag and rushing out of the door

"Good luck"

Oliver smirked as I walked after her.

I arrived at the practice with one minute to spare. i was so scared of being late I was afraid I would pee myself!

i said hello to my friendly manager and went to the back to sign in. i didn't say goodbye to Liam, I should have really. I mean they're being so kind letting me stay at theirs the least I could do was thank them

but I was upset with him because he almost made me late

Clocking in, i then went and put my bag away before logging into my computer as my college opened the door and the first customer came in

it was an old man and his parrot, i made conversation with them as i waited for the next customer and they were waiting for their appointment

soon enough i got busy and being the only receptionist i didn't get a break until we stopped for lunch and closed for about half an hour

i went to the break room and caught up with the veterinarians that worked with me. these guys were like a second family to me

after staring at the sandwich for about half an hour I put it back in my bag, at the bottom under the empty water bottle in hopes that the guys wouldn't notice and i would be able to bin it at home

My shift was very very eventful and i didn't get a moment to think as the cases kept rolling in.

during a quiet moment i was called back to the vets room a few times, once where i was asked to hold a gerbil and another where i was asked to assist with a dog

the gerbil bit me and the dog threw up on me, my colleague patched up the wound before showing me to the work showers where i showered quickly, drying my hair and then changing into the spare change of uniform i had in my locker "just in case" 

just as i was changing my clothes my boss, darryl, walked in on me.

i made an attempt to cover myself

"we are friends Trinity, no need to hide yourself"

He smiled, getting my name wrong, and i nodded

he was right

he came closer and caged me against the wall in my scrub trousers and a bra

i didn't react. dad used to play this game all the time

i laughed a little as he looked at me seriously before I asked him to stop

I went inside Trinnys workplace after she didn't come out, i asked a passing worker if they knew where she was and they directed me to the changing rooms

I burst in there to find a man in his late fifties, maybe early sixties caging her against the wall, i could see he was going to touch her and anger overcame me

She was in a fuckin bra and trousers and this creep was eyeing her up like she was his last meal

And she was telling him to stop but he didn't

"Get the fuck off of her"

I growled at the man andhe leapt off her

"Trinny, put a top on"

I said to her as i didnt break my gaze from the man

My anger exploded as i struck the man multiple times until he had a nose bleed

"You hurt him-"

I heard Trinny call from behind me as i shook my Fist to try and rid it of his nose blood

"Get in the car"

I demanded and to my delight, she followed my orders as i followed her soon after. I had a chat with the man

Rest assured that is not the last time he'll be seeing me

The ride home was silent as my anger was struggling to be contained

We got out of the car and she stropped off up to her room

"We were just playing a game!"

She huffed as she yelled down the stairs at me

"Some game."

I scoffed as i sat down with my friends

"Tough day at work?"

James asked me and I shook my head

"Her boss was trying to come onto her and she didn't even realise"
