I gently bang my head on the desk in front of me. Today was either going to be the best day of my life, or a total shitshow.

Now don't get me wrong, I was looking forward to today. I was having a movie day with my best friend since I was seven, John Egbert. Whom of which I had a crush on since I was twelve.

Now I know what you're thinking. Boy meets girl. Childhood friends. Long time feelings. Happily ever after, right?

There's just one problem. I'm a guy. And John is the straightest guy I know.

Okay, maybe not the straightest. But definitely not gay. Probably.

I lift my head from the surface beneath me and rise from my swivel chair to stretch. Everything was ready, and John wouldn't be here for another hour. Popcorn was popped, and all of his favorite movies were stacked in a neat pile before the video player.

Thinking I might as well kill some time, I open my laptop to begin today's internet bullfuckery session.

I ended up re-reading old Pesterlogs between my friends and I after my forty-four minute ao3 deep dive. Nothing really worth noting besides sending Dave to juice rehab and Jade being a furry.

I come across an old log of mine and John's. It was from three weeks ago, and a particular part had caught my eye.
