This is the retelling of a Myth about the cycles. The cycle of a woman's body, life, and love.
Persephone was neither free from her Mother's Love, nor her Father's greed for power, but she chose instead to be the prisoner of her Husband's Love.
This is what it means for her to be a woman in her own divine world in a distant past that is not so far from our own reality.
