The next morning, we spot David as he woke up again in the same hospital room from the first time he woke up after the incident, looking over, he saw that Gloria was still unconscious. His attention was soon drawn to the door as it opened and in walked a Trauma Team Paramedic with a clipboard, the Helmet visor currently lifted upwards and exposed the top of their face while a facemask covered their lower half
TT: "Alright, Mr. David Martinez, am I pronouncing that correctly?"
David: "U-uh, yeah..."
TT: "Good, after an overnight observation, we've deemed you healthy enough to be released today. You're lucky you only came out of that with a concussion and a few scrapes and cuts"
David: "W-What about my mom?"
TT: "Let's see, Gloria Martinez...Ah! Here we go! Due to the strain her body and mind have been put through for the past few months, we've deemed it necessary to keep her here for the remainder of the month to monitor her recovery and make sure she gets the help she needs should something go wrong, even if the risks are miniscule, it's best if you don't take the risks"
David: "Will I be able to visit her?"
TT: "Your plan does involve visitations. However, we ask that they be kept to an hour at most on weekdays and four hours on weekends and limited to two or three people at a time. Now if You'll follow me, I'll lead you to where you can collect you and your mother's belongings"
David nodded his head, yet still looked at his mother's sleeping body with worry for her condition before the doctor spoke again
TT: "Don't worry Mr. Martinez, we'll do everything in our power to help her recovery. We'll give you a call when she wakes up"
David: "Right, thanks, Doc"
David then got out of the bed and then followed the doctor as they entered a lift as the scene then changed to show Y/n as he slowly woke up in his apartment with a yawn and a pang of mild discomfort through his body. The apartment itself was located in Japantown, Westbrook, and so it was stylized to fit in with the aesthetic of its district
