No POV

It was late at night as the rain poured down on the streets of Night City. We see Y/n as he walks down an alleyway before turning into the stairwell that leads to The Afterlife. Once down the stairs, he then walked towards the door and was stopped by the bouncer, a man by the name of Emmerick Bronson. Emmerick then looked Y/n up and down, taking note of the Trauma Team Jumpsuit that he wore, he then spoke up

Emmerick: "What's Trauma Team doing here? No one's dying in there"

Y/n: "Former. I'm here on business"

Emmerick: "Name"

Y/n: "Y/n L/n"

After saying that name, Emmerick's eyes lit up as he scanned the database of people who were allowed into the club and soon he found his, the glow disappearing as he stood to the side and the doors opened up

Emmerick: "Enjoy your night, you know the rules"

With a nod of his head, Y/n then stepped inside and made his way to the bar. Along the way, he saw a small electronic box bolted to the counter with a picture of a man on it and the words "Rest in Peace, Dean" written on a small card next to it and a screen on said box with the number 2000 shown on it

Sitting at the bar, The bartender came to Y/n, this person being a man with green hair and a robotic arm not hidden with fake skin

Bartender: "Hey there, what can I get you?"

Y/n: "I'll go for a puppy"

Bartender: "Ah, a classic. One puppy coming right up"

The bartender then got to work on creating the drink, grabbing a glass and then pouring in some NiCola Classic, and some Cappalletti Specialino Aperitivo, on the rocks. Once he finished, he placed it in front of Y/n who took a drink before speaking

Y/n: "Where's Clair?"

The Bartender seemed a little saddened when asked that question before looking over to the small memorial box and then spoke up

Bartender: "Clair lost her husband a few days ago in a racing accident, she's taking time off to grieve. We set that box up to see if anyone wants to chip in a little to pay for the funeral and repairs to her car as a little thanks for her hard work. So far, barely anyone's chipped in aside from those who work here. The number's how much is in there. You want to chip in?"

Y/n didn't even think about it for more than a second before his eyes glowed blue and the number shot up to 15,000. Surprising the bartender who looked at him shocked

Y/n: "Tell her I'm sorry for her loss"

Bartender: "Y-Yeah, will do..."

The Bartender then left to go serve some other customers while someone else sat next to Y/n. Soon, Lucy's voice could be heard speaking to him

Lucy: "You really got the cash to be spending that much?"

Y/n: "She's a good friend, I didn't know her husband that well, but he seemed like an alright guy. But onto other matters, what do you need my help with?"

Lucy looked around the place before she then sent a text to him instead of speaking

Text: "Not here, follow me"

Lucy then stood up and walked away while Y/n followed after her. Soon, the two entered a private booth and sat down as Lucy now had a serious look on her face and crossed her arms

Lucy: "I need help getting into Dogtown"

Y/n: "Dogtown? Why?"

Lucy: "I...don't want to say"
