A gloomy atmosphere still cover the Rengoku's resident. Ever since Ruka Rengoku's death, everyone, including a cheerful Kyojuro, is wearing a gloomy expression on their face. Shinjuro Rengoku currently lock himself in his room ever since that day and Senjuro keep wandering around his mother's grave because his young brain aren't develop enough to accept that his mother will never return to tell him bedtime story, to hug him and carry him in her arm whenever he feel sad.

Current Kyojuro is sitting on the floor, leaning his back again the wall while gazing the beautiful garden that his family plant together when they are younger.

Y/N: Yo, mind if I sit here?

His gaze turn to his childhood friend and let out a small smile when he see his childhood friend holding a bag and wearing a eye patch cover his left eye

Kyojuro: Yeah, of course you can

He replied with a unusual quiet tone and look at me with his lifeless eyes before return his gaze to the garden

Y/n: Want some?

The (h/c) boy offer he a orange donut that he took from the bag he bought with him

Kyojuro: Yeah

Y/N: That donut look like you alot, you know that

He said while take a bite from his chocolate donut

Kyojuro: Yeah, it really does

He also take a bite and his eyes widen a little, after chewing he continue

Kyojuro: Maybe I am a donut

He said with a smile which make his friend burst out from laughing. After that they just silently enjoy their food in a comfortable silence.

Y/N: So....how was her final moment like?

He ask with a emotionless voice while gazing at the wall opposite him, this quesiotn make his childhood friend put down his donut and let out a bitterly smile

Kyojuro: You know, about we live a long and happy life, and stuff like that

After a brief moment of silence he continue

Kyojuro: She also talk about you, you known?

This sentence make Y/N face lit up a little

Kyojuro: She said that something is bother you and she was worried about it. Every time she tried to find out you push her away and change the topic. She even left you a letter

He said and pull out a letter from his pocket and give it to Y/n

Kyojuro: She talk about you so much that sometime I even forgot that I am her son

Y/N: And while all of that happen, I and Uzui are partying, how amusing

He said while clenching his fist a little

Y/N: Fate really know how to play with people, isn't it?

Kyojuro: Yeah, I suppose

After that he let out a bitter laugh before finish his donut and left the room leaving Y/N alone

Hello, hope you're doing fine these day! If you read this letter it mean that I've already dead. I hope I can say this word face to face with you but it's already too late, my time is already runs out. I just want to let you know one thing, that wherever you are, whenever you feel sad, lonely, despair, you can always return here, we will always welcome you, because even if you are not related by blood, you are still a member of the Rengoku family and you will always be my son, no matter what happen, no matter what path you choose, no matter what your future is, we will always welcome you to our arm.
