A day in paradise

Chapter 7 .

The very next day after I came home to eat dinner at 12 am in the morning. The salmon tasted burnt to me but maybe it was because I got salt water from surfing in my mouth .
I didn't feel like eating anything this morning so I skipped breakfast and made a cup of hot coffee. Kayla and joe walked downstairs hand in hand . Good morning sunshine you looked like you been trough hell she says . Thanks I said sipping my coffee at the table. I think Ryan and josh both kept you up at night she winked at me . Joe - babe just let it go she can hang out with her guy friends, you're acting like Sarah and it's kinda annoying!!
Kayla- you're right babe , ash I'm sorry do whatever you want . Thanks I said removing myself from the kitchen counter and walking away from the lovebirds. I bumped into a guy and had no idea who he was and ended up spilling hot coffee all over my clothes . I tried not to scream at him as he gasped saying sorry I didn't see you there . Sarah runs downstairs- what happened to you ? She asked me . Ashley- you're boyfriend made me spill hot coffee all over my clothes. Sarah giggles- that's actually my older brother Sam .
Sam burst into laughter- I'm sorry again , do you need anything? Kayla tossed me few paper towels and I catch them mouthing thanks . I turn my attention back to Sarah And Sam saying nope I'm fine . Thanks. I walked by then and run upstairs to go change my clothes. I'm definitely embarrassed. Did I really just call Sarah's brother her boyfriend?
I definitely refuse to walk downstairs until after he leaves . I sat in my bed and grabbed a book . Kayla walks in my bedroom as I say remind me to get a look on that door !!!!!! .
Kayla- you're mean . I was checking up on you . Are you pissed off at San ? No I don't know him , accidents happen. I hold up my book I'm currently reading. Now leave me be ! Kayla burst into laughter wow you're mean . Have fun being upstairs alone girlie ! .
She left my room. I looked outside my bedroom window and saw Sarah hugging Sam . I think he's leaving . I'm still embarrassed standing here hiding behind the curtains. I'm trying not to be creepy but sam is kinda attractive not as attractive as my boyfriend tho ,
Kayla text me - I'd jump that man . I rolled my eyes at her text she's definitely scaring me this year. If she acts like Sarah more then I'm packing my crap and moving out!!!!!!
I texted her - he's okay looking but I'm currently in a serious relationship and so are u .
Kayla- don't remind me . I burst into laughter and decided to take a shower before my own boyfriend got home from the gym . Too late . When I'm in the bathroom I hear a voice call out hey babe we're are you I'm home from the gym ?! . He opens the door to the bedroom and shouts babe ! I'm taking a shower I shout . Okay he tells me can I join you ? You're too sweaty I'm almost done I shout as I'm quickly washing my hair then my body and he joins me anyways. We ended up making out for a few hours and I'm all the sudden not into reading books anymore. Dinner ! Kayla screams upstairs to us all .
We get out of the shower and get dressed fast . Ryan- is everything okay babe ? You're upset about something. Nope I'm good let's eat I told him hoping Sam wasn't here for dinner 🍽. Kayla- I made breakfast actually i just said dinner so you two would join us .
Have a nice time ? Joe teases us . Ryan- funny guys . Looks yummy he said winking at me . Josh rolled his eyes at us . What's he doing here I asked them as I'm sitting down. I told you both I don't eat breakfast. Kayla- yeah well pro surfer girls need breakfast ash .
Joe - eat up ash ! . He winked at me . Josh just eats not saying anything. I roll my eyes.
You I said eyeing josh like a hawk . What are you doing here ? We didn't have plans !!!
Josh eyes me up and down saying - I always wanna spend time with you ash. He smiled a fake smile at Ryan . Ryan looked uncomfortable and pissed - excuse me everyone he's saying leaving the table. I got up and follow him . Did you know he was coming over ? . I asked him . Ryan- no I'm probably sure joe is now best friends with your ex boyfriend! .
I definitely have the worst luck but maybe Sarah likes him or something I heard Jessie dumped her again . Ryan- I hope that's why he's here and not to bother my girlfriend. I kissed my boyfriend- I think josh is over me now , all we do is flirt for fun mostly him I say . Okay fine let's eat he says as he's grabbing my waist leading me backwards towards everyone. Okay I say . Is everything okay? Josh says . Yup Ryan said pulling out seats for us both as we sat down I tossed josh a smile and wink for fun . Everyone laughed at that . Josh winked at me back . He texts me- just another day in paradise with me ash . I texted him underneath the table- you wanna go surfing again two days in a row ? It's a bit windy today I might freeze 🥶. I glanced at josh to get his reaction and his brows raised and he looks at his phone texting 💬- you know you can't resist me anymore!!! .
Wtf 😳. I looked at the texts and my face went dark red or pink I couldn't tell but I'm embarrassed 🙈 now . I kicked his leg underneath the table. He laughed and winked at me . Ryan looks pissed off at us both but doesn't say anything besides the foods really good ! . Thanks Ryan Sarah says eating . Kayla- she didn't help make anything just joe .
Sarah flipped Kayla off at the table. Ryan laughed- well it's delicious. My girlfriend here should make her famous French toast next time . Ashley blushes - awe thanks babe !!!!!
Josh kicked me underneath the table texting me- wow talk about boyfriend goals loves your cooking but doesn't say I love you. I kicked him under the table way to hard so he flinched up and everyone at the table looked at us . What ? I asked biting into a waffle.
Kayla burst into laughter- is everything okay over there ? Josh who's in pain mumbled something underneath his breathe and gets up from the table to excuse himself then he limped away . Sarah - did you injure him ? She eyed me . Ashley- I think he just stubbed his leg underneath the kitchen counter. Ryan burst into laughter and winked my way at me and I try hard not to burst into laughter with him . I kinda felt bad I kicked josh tho .
Excuse me I say to everyone and walked upstairs. Hey josh are you in here ? I pound on his guest bedroom door hard and then all the sudden I felt like I was being yanked into a bedroom backwards, or a dark bathroom and my mouth gets covered. Are we being all robbed at gun point ?! I freak out and as soon as I'm bout to fight this person off he says something and it made me relax a bit - Ashley why did you follow me up here ? Don't !! Don't ever do that to me again I snapped. I almost had a heart attack! I thought we were being robbed or worse kidnapped! I could've broken your nose ! Josh - you're adorable and very very scary whenever you're mad . Kicking me under the kitchen counter now I think we're even . And since you think it's funny to abuse me under the kitchen counter you are going midnight surfing with me and I couldn't care less or give a shit if you're little boyfriend gets pissed at you . Congratulations meet me at sunset on the beach or I actually might kidnap you . He says walking downstairs sorry everyone I forgot my cell phone upstairs ! . I rolled my eyes kicking the bedroom door hard . Fuck . My . Life . I'm in way too deep now and I'm not really sure I can get outta this really awkward situation
. I only hoped I'd drowned and wouldn't have to spend the night with my ex boyfriend in my house with my current boyfriend. I think Ryan's pissed. I couldn't really blame my boyfriend for being pissed . Hey babe Ryan walked upstairs can we talk about us ? .

Ashley- yeah babe is everything okay? I asked him my heart gets butterflies 🦋 in my chest and I feel like I'm getting light headed and I might faint as he says - I think we need a break . I'm not really sure about we're our relationship stands it's confusing to me . You seem more interested in your ex boyfriend then you are with me . That way ya guys can sneak off whenever you'd like and you wouldn't be cheating on me anymore! .

My jaw dropped to the ground as I watched my ex boyfriend walk away from me .

Wtf did he really just breakup with me because josh got invited to our dinner 🥘??
