I listened to Madeleine as he continued to talk about his adventures
"How many adventures do you even have?" I chuckled
"I have a lot! I am a paladin after all!" He beamed
"Of course"
'..I really did fall in love, did I..?'
'Why is he so nice to me... Being manipulated isn't exactly an excuse for my actions... I think'
Then I got a gut feeling again
'This can't be good.. The gut feeling is here again..'
The gut feeling got worse, then I heard something from behind
"Hanging out with your enemy, Espresso Cookie?" I heard Pomegranate ask
Then I got dragged back with magic
"NO" I exclaimed
Madeleine quickly got ready to attack
"Now now, is this necessary? Let's think.. Remember when Espresso defeated the soldiers you brought to our lands?" Pomegranate chuckled
"Well, I forgave them for that! They informed me that Dark Enchantress' manipulation made them do it!" Madeleine said
"You're so.. forgiving.. They literally despised you"
"Not anymore! I think"
"You think?"
Pomegranate giggled
I tried my hardest to escape her, but I was being held back with strong dark magic
It hurts
"I don't" I said while struggling
"See?" Madeleine asked
"Like I believe that" Pomegranate said
"Let them go! They look like they're in pain!"
Pomegranate giggled and made the dark magic hurt more
I winced
"Ok, that's it! I'll fight you!" Madeleine said
"Yeah no" Pomegranate said
She lifted up her mirror, then Madeleine got restrained
"Bye, knight commander~" She sung
Then she teleported away with me

Eventually, the restraints went away
"Shit.. This is bad.." I muttered
"How am I gonna save them.. I'm gonna be outnumbered!" I continued
I sighed
"I have to do it. I can't let her hurt Espresso" I said

Pomegranate threw me in a cage, then she restrained me with chains
Then she walked away
I tried escaping, but it didn't work
'..Fuck'
'Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuck'
'No no, I don't wanna die'
'Please no'
'Not yet'
I continued to try to escape, but as expected, it didn't work
Then I saw Dark Enchantress walk to my cage
"I guess all I needed was Pomegranate.. Those incompetent idiots couldn't do this" She sneered
I glared at her while wincing since the chains were painful
"Why such a sour look? You were meant to be evil.. You were meant to be here" Dark Enchantress chuckled
"No I wasn't.. You manipulated me into being evil" I said
"I didn't manipulate you.. I merely opened your eyes"
"You didn't open shit"
She used magic to make the chains hurt worse
I winced
"Bold of you to speak to me like that.. I can easily make this an extremely painful experience" Dark Enchantress said
"Whatever you're trying to do, it won't work" I scoffed
Then she made the pain even worse
It became so bad that it felt like my arms and legs were being crushed by a boulder
"If I keep going, your arms and legs may crumble" Dark Enchantress smirked
The pain was too bad, so I didn't even think about speaking
"Now, Espresso Cookie.." Dark Enchantress started
"I have a task for you.." She continued
"W-what.." I managed to say
She opened the cage door and lifted up my chin
"Use your magic to help me take over Earthbread and make me the rightful ruler of everyone.."
