I just looked at Dark Enchantress
'If I say no, I'm probably dead..'
"I'll give you time" She said
Then she walked away
I tried to continue to hold in the tears that were trying to escape
'This hurts..'
Then I heard armor clanking
I saw Madeleine peak into the room I was in
"Espresso!" He said
Then he ran in
"Are you ok??" He asked
"No. These chains hurt like hell" I said while wincing in pain
Madeleine had a sympathetic look on his face
"These chains look like they're made out of very strong dark magic.." He muttered
"I wonder if I could make a spell that could get rid of the dark magic.. Light magic COULD counter dark magic" He continued
He paced around a bit
Then he seemed like he had an idea
"Do you still have your magic?" He asked
I tried using my magic, but the dark magic stung me
"OW, SHIT" I hissed
"Hmm.." Madeleine hummed
"Alright.. I'm so sorry in advance" He continued
"Sorry for what?" I questioned
Then he swung at the chains with his sword
His sword made a small explosion when it hit the chains
Then the chains disappeared
Luckily, I landed on my feet
I quickly left the cage
Then I hugged Madeleine
He hugged me back
"What was she gonna do?" He asked
"She wanted me to help her take over Earthbread" I sighed
"Ew"
"Yeah, I know. She literally only wants me because I'm powerful. It's just.. No"
"Yeah"
"Anyways, come on."
Then I teleported us out of the lair
"I need to think of something quick.. Because she's definitely gonna come back for me..." I muttered
"This seemed too easy.." Madeleine said
"True.. I just need to be careful and try to make sure I don't get kidnapped again"
•·.·Madeleine's POV·.·•
'I feel so bad for them.. But I don't know how to protect them from Dark Enchantress..'
'I really wish I could easily protect them. It hurts to see them get kidnapped'
"Why does Dark Enchantress have to be so desperate for your power.." I sighed
"4 children have literally won a fight against her, Madeleine. She's salty and needs my power because apparently I'M A FUCKING POWER SOURCE THAT IS MORE POWERFUL THAN EVERYONE IN THIS KINGDOM COMBINED" Espresso said in a stressed and slightly pissed tone
Then they sighed
"Sorry. Just stressed" They said in an apologetic tone
"It's fine" I smiled
"This didn't happen in the old story.. Tsk"
Then we looked at the viewer (i dont miss breaking the 4th wall)
(anyways)
"I just.. Wish I didn't have to be so on edge all the time. I've been on edge ever since I arrived in this kingdom" Espresso muttered
Then I saw someone appear behind Espresso
I recognized them as..
Dark Enchantress
My eyes widened
"Espresso.. You may wanna look behind you.." I said
"Uh.. Ok" They said
Then they turned
"..Oh" They said
"Hello again, Espresso Cookie"
