I recently started going out with a girl. Her name is Kanae and she's super cute, though maybe a little clingy. She's like a little bunny.

Today is Kanae's birthday. She invited me to her house tonight to eat some homemade cookies. We've both been looking foward to this day.

"I bought it from that exorcist, and I swear it actually works." Tanjiro added.

"You mean Tomioka? Aw, thanks!" Kanae said while holding the amulet.

"Huh?" Kanae said as she starts to feel a little weak.

"What's wrong?" Tanjiro asked worriedly

"It just... makes me feel... a little nauseous... I don't think I can take this." Kanae said while giving the amulet back to him.

"I'm so sorry. I'll get you something else!" Tanjiro said while putting the amulet inside his pocket.

"No, I'm the one who should be sorry! I wasted your gift..." Kanae said sadly with her head down.

This is not the first time Kanae has turned down one of my gifts.

I've never had another girlfriend, and I have no friends or family to ask, so I don't know if this kind of thing is normal.

Am I really that bad at choosing gifts...?
